Every single one of the board members of HSV should be shot and then hanged to be sure we got rid of them !

They talk ambition while they sell all their important players (bar one) and don't replace them with quality....

'Stevens moet HSV naar Europese top leiden'

    07/09/2007 16:07

Not only Rafael needs to get the hell out of that dump, it's time Huub starts looking for a better deal too : with a board that's got it's head in the clouds and no feet on the floor it's impossible to please them....maybe he should ask Martin Jol for advice....

They say one thing and their transfer policy says something completely different.

There's nothing wrong with ambition...as long as it's based on reality.

HSV's ambition (and Ajax's for example) is based on fairy tales and sky castles.

Relax Axe, the board members of the HSV come and go, but they always tell the same old jokes, time and again. Nobody takes them serious anymore...

I simply can not understand why there isn't a bigger outcry over the incredible way in which they demolished a side that could have been a top 20 team in Europe, brought in just enough filler to ensure they won't go down and have the nerve to even use the word ambition.

Yeah, it really bugs me....because now my favourite player to watch is stuck in a Tsjernobil like dump Crying or Very sad

Barbarez, Boulahrouz, Madahvikia & Van Buyten should never have been allowed to leave...

Losing Barbarez, Boulahrouz, Madahvikia & Van Buyten and replacing them with better players is not a bad thing. Even I as a bayern fan would rather see Kompany come in than van Buyten.

Strange point you are trying to raise Axe.

Van Buyten was better for HSV than Kompany is and the rest have hardly been replaced.

How many games Kompany played for HSV? hardly any so it is hard to say he is not good for HSV... The youngster just came back from a long injury last season and started the season quite well

Barbarez was replaced by Zidan. I think Zidan will prove a better signing. Mahdavikia was replaced by Castelan, who is better. And Bouhlarouz is just plain $h!t.

Who exactly ARE Europe's 20 best clubs?

Its quite a modest ambition to be honest + it doesn't mean anything.

A far more suitable ambition would be to become Germany's top club and a regular in the CL knockouts

I don't think AZ and Villarreal are exactly part of that group, if you ask me. They might be on the fringes or may be knocking (or have been knocking) on the door.

i am wondering why the board members are so earnest to sell quality players, why dont they want to keep them to gain more prestige to attract more quality players from other famous clubs.
they put much attention to money,IMO--thats not positive for a club dreaming to be successful.
Dutch clubs should have won more credits due to their homegrown stars, Ruud, Sneider, Babel and the like.

We are a small market so the cash is limited...

We can never sell PSV, Ajax, AZ or Feyenoord to a broad audience because football is very national related within Europe and as long there is no real European League we will always be a third tier country in club football...

Another problem is, Dutch players always like to go abroad. In the Netherlands you are just someone when you have lived your live also in a foreign country... For real Dutchies the country is too small! Also, you have to take into account that every one love to get at least one Dutchie because we love to integrate in other cultures...

We are frontiers and traders... Don't be surprised if a large group of Dutchies go to China soon to help your superb growing economy....

The only problem with Dutchies is... they always have an opinion on about everything and sometimes we are TOO direct for other cultures...

It means that Dutch people say whats on their minds. For example: A lot of people think Rosicky has a big chin, but dont dare to confront him with that. The Dutchies just say to Rosicky that he has a big chin Biggrin <Ale>
