Messi, the moment I saw him play in the U20 world youth games, I knew the kid was special. He is the kind of player that you pay to watch, a player that reminds you why you love football. I hope he has no more injuries in the next couple of years, so he can entertain the world on a weekly basis.

for my it is kaka. he is imo the best player in the world. and allthough messi is good too he is still too one sided for my whereas kaka seems to do it all. good call about essien who is great too.

Tweedle, you can't really call Messi injury-prone. He had one hamstring injury which was made worse by the club trying to rush the recovery, and then the metatarsal which was just one of those that could have happened at anytime to anyone.
