Mourinho's reply to Hughes comments about the penalty saga:
Mourinho dismissed his opposing number’s thoughts on the challenge on Terry with a touch of recent history.
“If Mark Hughes wants to speak about penalties, he should speak about three penalty decisions last season which he never spoke about. Last season he was very happy with three decisions and he won the game here and went home happy.
“Today he is speaking - but that is how almost everybody is in football. I am a little bit the same. There was a penalty on John Terry in the first-half, very similar to the second one.
“The rules are very clear. If a defender pushes or pulls or keeps contact for more than two or three seconds with an attacker, it is a penalty. For me the penalty was clear.”
