Scots want to resurrect England game

This would be great. However its amusing how the Scots only seem bothered about it now they've got a half decent team. Dont remember them calling for the bi-annual event 2 or 3 years back when they were drawing with the Faroes

If they agree to the GB Olympic football team then yeah we should play them, if not then they can get stuffed.

we all know there is no way a GB Olympic team will play with all 4 home nations agreement. the irish are now against too i think, us and the sweaties always have been. Quite rightly they are concerned it'll set a dangerous precedent for ongoing 4 nation footy rather than 1 GB & NI team

No need for an annual game. But we should have a friendly with them just to show who's boss. The fifa rankings have deluded a few of them to thinking they actually have a better team than England. Man for man go through there whole squad for last weeks weekend matches. Not one of them did anything, i guess mcfadden got an assist but thats as good as it got.
Hell 5 players in the scottish squad play for derby!

you'd have said the same when those 2 play off games were played and they still turned you over at wembley.

by the same token when you fail to beat france in february, something they've managed twice, they'll have an even stronger argument that the rankings are about right.

it goes back to the team argument again, they play as one, whilst england who undoubtedly have better individuals fail to play as one and hence the sum of the individual parts is more than the sume of the whole when itc omes to england

They won at wembley but lost overall. England winning 0-2 at their place you could say showed england are far superior....but the argument they beat england at wembley is always used.

It would be an interesting game and it would make a pointless friendly not pointless for a change.
