Nice victory yesterday at Rennes, the on form 4th team in the league.

There were some good and bad news.

Ben Arfa and Toulalan were both excellent yesterday, and the first one scored a nice goal. The bad news was that Lyon lost forward Karim Benzema through injury. He left the pitch on a stretcher early in the second half with a bruised right thigh muscle so he'll definitely be out for this week's crucial game against Barcelona. Some other players are getting better and better like , Govou, Kallstrom and Junhino.

Here's Ben Arfa's goal, good little touch to dribble and pass the defenders.

Benzema has 30% chance to play. Bad news because both Fred and Baros are Cr@p at the moment.

Latest News, after Barcelona it's Man U turn to think about Ben Arfa as a replacement for Giggs.
Lyon are interested in the Argentinian forward Rodrigo Palacio.
    Is he any good?

He has been a failure so far. It's a big disappointment, because the club and the fans counted a lot on him and because he cost a lot. I think fans should be patient with him because he has some real potential. He's an excellent dribbler who is very quick.

Thats what i saw against us.
Excellent dribbler, fast, strong on the ball and can turn out to be something.
I wouldnt mind if in some stage we go for him. Of course, if he dont turn out to be a total failure until then.

I would take Benzema rather then Hatem , to me Hatem is more like Henry then Giggs.

Between the two Ben Arfa has more potential, and even Benzema says it. Dark Savante, I don't think you have seen him play, he's much more a Giggs than Henry. He plays very similarly as Giggs, left footed, quick, great technique, can dribble very well. I wouldn't be surprised he end up at Manchester.

Are you a Barcelona or Rangers fan? The thing with Keita is that last year he had an amazing game against Milan at San Siro, where he scored two goals and totally dynamited the defense. He has a lot of potential, but so far he hasn't done very well. I guess it might be a question of time.

If Lyon beat Rangers, I think they will be potentially different because all the main injured players will be back (Cris, Coupet) and some might get their form back (Baros, Keita, Fred).

    Alive
I admit I havent seen him regularly , still looked to me more of a forward then a winger , he may be more talented but we need a striker then a winger so still Karim gets my vote , though wouldnt mind a Giggs replacement.
