    It's Feyenoord's season

    We're back with a vengeance.

    Makaay = The killer

    Luigi Bruins = God

    same goes for De Guzman

11/11 we're gonna get medieval on Ajax

    We'll win the league.

Next season we'll bring the CL back home.

wouldn't be happy if that happened, but Feyenoord might sell him, think he only has 1 season in his contract left.

We have other options as wide attackers, Slory, Vincken, Drenthe, few talented teeners. So for 10M+ and if the money is spent wisely, I might agree. Romeo is a bit injury prone.

To bad he's injury prone, but he should go to another vlub IMO where he can fullfill his potential better - a team with a mor efluid attack.

Going to boro smakcs of being tempted by the moeny. In a certain way he's right thouh - if he gets long term injured again his career might be over (not literally but at least in terms of career options and choice/interest of big/good clubs), so he's going to Boro to get something for his retirement fund, just in case.

He's very talented so he might just pull it off.

don't see any reason why the line up I posted can't play stunning fluid attacking footy.

Drenthe, Slory, Guzzie & Luigi all have plenty of skill same goes for our youngsters. We just need a decent manager to get best out of them. woudln't be surprised at all if next May I'll be at the Coolsingel (we also have the advantage that we can focus on the league).

Whatever happens , Feyenoord has the advantage over its rivals as JdG points out no distractions from Europe and the players must surely be motivated to do better (than last season) with the right coach its possible

Yes, Castelen has to be sold if he doesnt want to sign a new contract! But to Boro Erm I can see a bigger team paying 15mil+ then a couple of years later.

Derijck will be sold to a 1st division team in Belgium!!! After tonigh, I still think it was a mistake to sell Zuiverloon.

    IMO, we need more players.
    -Makaay
    -Tymoschuk
    -De Faauw

Lets hope Real wins the title, so Barca will sell Gio as well.

Totally agree on Zuiverloon wasn't happy at all we sold him.

Pity if that happens with Derijck. He's underrated. Signing Makaay would make my summer. Somehow I think it will not happen. De fauw would be a good signing. Tymoschuk -unfortunately, I rate him high- will be far too expensive. Too much money in eastern Europe at the moment.

Is about time Gio returns. He still hardly lived in his new villa (which is the biggest in the enire Rotterdam area). Could also depend in his faith in our new manager.

I hope we get rif of Danny (dwang)Buijs as well, amazing for Groningen. Utter retard for us, Pascal Bosschaart the second. Just on the pitch to kick players.

Quite weird, they excelled at Groningen and Utrecht but failed here, shows that its hard to predict what a good transfer would be.

Yeah Greene would be much better, allthough he still a while out, with his injury! Its always hard to predict how they will come back with such an injury.

And always thought he played his best matches on the midfield. So basically we need a whole new backline, with that ridiculous amount of goals against us as a valid point. Vlaar can stay offcourse.

But we dont have any money so we have to be creative, lets hope for a couple of youth players to add the depth of the squad.

in the 18-19 group we still have

Rico Kogeldans, Jerson Anes Ribeiro, Hanne Hagary , Glenn Kobussen , Erwin Mulder , Norichio Nieveld , Michel Poldervaart, Mitchell Schet , Clint van Stee, Raymond Watamaleo , Kevin Wattamaleo, Georginio Wijnaldum (who all play for Holland U-whatever) & Lensky

and our 16-17's are even better.

some must make it to the full team...

We only need quality or nothing. I don't want any Cr@p singing I rather see a 17 year old who played for us for 10 years.

Wijnaldum should be added to the squad for sure. I never understood what the point is of buying players for the bench anyway. Cause in Feyenoord's case they are usually $h!t anyway. So add some of Fraser's boys to it. Such a shame how the club threatened this man.

I have full faith in Jean-Paul van Gastel that he can teach the youngsters a bit.

Janssen and Brard should be sacked. Brard is only their because he's Janssen family. Janssen did not deliver, where are the signings from his great network??? The way he kicked out Fraser was one of the biggest disgraces in Feyenoord's history. And I still haven't forgiven him for moving to Ajax.

I would be very happy with Been as manager and Fraser as assistant.

Been is staying put. Biggrin Hands off. Mad

Anyway I see none of you have Charisteas in the front line.
Even I couldn't believe Feyenoord did go for him last year! Like a slap to the fac and a kick to the nuts. And meanwhile Heerenveen got Afonso.

You need new (non youth oriented) scouts, that's what you need. You make good young acquisitions, but fail horribly with the somewhat olde more expensive ones - and you sell your good players too fast.
Fred, Elmander. Larsson, Cruz etc, and those are just the ones I bothered to think of. I know there many many more examples...

The first thing that needs to change at Feyenoord is the way the club is organised. There is no 1 Feyenoord. We have the pro-club, the amateur club and the stadium. They all have different interests & even within those sub-Feyenoords there are rivalries. Good material for a nice soap.

    from Feyenoord's website:

"Feyenoord have appointed Bert van Marwijk as the club’s new head coach. The 55-year-old arrives on a two-year contract. Feyenoord and Van Marwijk initiated talks a fortnight ago and the positive vibes that pervaded those initial discussions have proven to be right. Van Marwijk will be officially presented at De Kuip at 1 pm Monday.

Van Marwijk starts his second spell as head coach at De Kuip on Saturday 7 July. The Dutchman first led the club in 2000-2004, during which time he guided Feyenoord to a UEFA Cup triumph in 2002. It makes Van Marwijk the longest-serving head coach in the club’s long history."

He'll do better than Gullit or Koeman (not completely sure if EK has all the blame though besides tactics).
That big bag of money they gave Gullit to spend (which Van Marwijk produced in the first place), they should have given it to Bertje.

And the Feyenoord youngsters are finally looking like they're (somewhat) up to the task ahead.

    Looks good IMO.

Looks like there is finally something happening! But to make an offer of 50 million is a joke, like Feyenoord says. I think 200 million is about right.

Hope that all this results in some money that we can spend. Cant wait to make "Who should we Buy" topics as well Biggrin
