Is Messi going to have SSS?

Thats the problem with winning 2 leagues in a row, the cules get way to cocky.

Just for the record, i think Rooney is better than Messi but that might change this season if Messi plays alot.

I will accept any other persons opinion but LRS he is just trying to wind us up. because i know for fact that if RM where going to buy one of the two he would want them to but Messi

Haven't read the whole thread in detailed but I see it's turned into Rooney vs. Messi.

Let me just say this - for English fans and the English games, Rooney is an absolutely amazing and fantastic player. He can do everything that is typically needed in the English game, better than any other player.

But Messi will always get more credit, because (as someone said) he is from Argentina and plays for Barca, and is much more talented (tricks, skill, etc.) and so in the eyes of the rest of the world he will always be considered the better player.

Assuming of course, both keep up their current form levels and rate of progress.

Not as good as the two goals and one assist Rooney got

Cesc had his SSS last season

This is now his third season remember

Cesc didn't really play much two seasons ago and had his first great season last season. Messi also played in 2004/2005 some games towards the end.

In any case, Messi seems to be warming up now. I'm telling you he will score 15-20 goals this season.

Nah, Cescs best season was his first season and he played tonnes!

Last season was his maturing season - he grew as a player. He started off the season very badly, it was his SSS

This will be his settling season
