Adriano joins Sao Paulo on loan from Inter


RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Troubled Inter Milan striker Adriano is to join Sao Paulo on a six-month loan, the Brazilian champions said on Wednedsay.


"(Sao Paulo) concluded with Inter Milan the loan of striker Adriano until June 30, 2008," the club said on their Web site (http://www.saopaulofc.net).
The 25-year-old Brazilian, once the most feared striker in Serie A, has hardly featured for Inter in the last two seasons after battling fitness and reported alcohol problems.

I don't think a smile signifies that he's happy in life. Maybe at night he feels depressed and has to take his old J&D out the cabinet.

Its a great move for him, Inter and Sao Paulo if Adriano gets to play regularily.

I'm half Brazilian and the team I support there is Sao Paulo. I'm glad Adriano's gone there. He'll score a lot in Brazil.

Sao Paulo are a very well run club and seem to be favourites to win the league for the third time in a row.
