Briz i think its the 2006 league champs that go into the ECL, as rosenborg were the ECL entrants this year. Brann will therefore be in the ECL qualifiers next season, prob cos the league doesn't finish in time for the qualification starting

Assuming Sporting can handle Basel, without taking them lightly we have the obligation to beat them (otherwise what the hell are we doing in Europe?), I'm thinking a tie with Atletico would be quite entertaining if stressfull.
Atletico's defending has looked poor when I've seen them, but their attack is pretty top-class. Were Sporting able to get past Atletico that would be a good scalp and strong ensentive for the remainder of the tourney.
Sporting's defending has been poor as well, conceding those late goals that cost us 2nd place in the CL group, so we'd have to avoid dead balls especially as Atletico look strong in this area.
Sporting also doesn't have Atletico's attacking options in terms of strikers...

I'm quite excited about the UEFA Cup this year. I've had little interest in it in past seasons, but the current roster is very strong. So many good teams. I hope they all take it seriously.
