Although... against Ajax at home they were dirty and tried (succesfully) to get players sent off. Frings = cunt, unless proven otherwise.

Tough draw AZ - Bremen. Although I think AZ can do Bremen I am afraid about Bremen's set pieces. In the end of the day, we will get again two exciting UEFA Cup games!

Spurs - Sevilla is also mouthwatering!

Wanted to avoid Sevilla and Leverkusen (can theoretically meet both in the final earliest), so I'm satisfied with the draw, although AZ will not be an easy match for us. I especially rate their arrogant bastard of a coach.

I hope we regain our form soon, then it should be a very exciting tie, even for the neutral fan.

AZ were supposed to be in CL this season.

Sevilla V Spurs and AZ V Bremen are THE ties of the round no doubt.

I fancy Spurs' chances against sevilla, so long as the spanish team remain in the title hunt domeestically

I hope the referee won't fancy Bremen again. Against Ajax they got a goal that was "probably" never a goal and against Vigo a goal was disallowed that was 100% a clean goal!



Don't get me wrong Bremen deserved to go through in both matches.

On the other hand, If lucky Bremen gets again the referee on their hands we will get the most legendary, freaky Van Gaal speech ever. Top quality televison.

they are all very good games, really looking forward to the sevilla V spurs game.

Id say this is the strongest set of quarter finalists the UEFA cup has seen in a long time. No duff teams left now Newcastle are out

You are right TRWP (won't comment on the Newcastle wind up), a lot of very good and exciting teams left, most of them with an attacking philosophy. That's why, without bias (honestly), I can see this years UEFA Cup 1/4 finals to be more exciting than the CL 1/4 finals for the neutral fan.
