Apparantely this rumour is based on a crappy radio reporter suggesting he had some kind of bust up with Wenger (that's what seem to be the source, according to a single unreliable poster on Arsenal Mania, he posted the news you posted a few days ago, don't think it's true, maybe his post lead to the street talk). Could be, would amaze me if he goes.

Just checked a few other Arsenal related sites. f@ck all.

Hope it's what it smells like: bullshit.

Posted 3 days ago on Arsenal Mania (Sun Dec 23, 2007 3:43 am)

Does anyone know if his injury is for real?

I heard on the radio that Wenger wanted to play with just Ade and leave him on the bench but he refused and walked out of the ground!

Meh they can sit out until we play the big 4 and the last 16 of the CL. Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez will take care of the rest.

Well this bust up suggests otherwise Biggrin We know the problems at the dutch club. When Robben was having a great world cup, rvp got jealous and started calling him selfish, this attitude i would hate to have in the team, as it's only a matter of time before he has a bust up with another top player. <Ale>

Robben WAS selfish though. It was exaggerated anyway, it's not like it was the Melberg Vs Freddie one. He would feel very uncomfortable at the Mancs. Van Persie wouldn't just sit there while Fergie is throwing his boot.

Is that an attamept to put as much Cr@p as possible in 2 lines of text. Robben did not have a great WC. RVP was not jealous of him, like all his other team mates he was pissed about Robben only looking at his own wfeet when having the ball & ignoring all his team mates. Everybody, bar the outrioght Robben fans thought he was right.

The most selfish thing I saw in the whole tournament was van Persie cutting the ball back against the Portugese defender making him look really stupid but then going for goal and missing, when a pass to Sneijder would of been a certain goal.

Robben had a great first game of the wc. He looked dangerous and played very well. Instead of a positive response, what he got was a jealous team mate saying he was to selfish and to pass the ball to him more. Basically Rvp didn't like someone else getting all the praise. And the result was bad for himself Robben and the team. True story. <Ale>

RVP must like it now, he practically kept Van Basten in a job (also Van der Vaart but lets just focus on Robin). I would go as far to say Van Persie being the most important member of the Dutch National team now. Just pray to the Gods he will be fit & fresh for the European Championships.
