Ronaldo will probably score a Hat-trick at Upton Park now, but I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts. Smiley

His 2 on Saturday were amusing- both more or less bounced off him!

Fair play. Berbatov makes Keane's life so easy when you watch them - he's like the Heskey to Robbie's Owen

Still believe Wor Jermaine deserves more games though ; his finish for the 5th was class.

3rd highest scorers in the league this season, just 1 goal short of both Man Poo and Arseholenal

That's what I like about Keano thought, the flair, the clever touches, the link-up and ability to try the unexpected are all still there, but he's developed a real poacher instinct over the past couple of years.

100 EPL goals in 222 games Ale

He is the most unherelded player in the division.

Like I said, They'll be a parade going from Anfield to the Vicenté Caulderon in Madrid if Torres ever reaches that Milestone.

Well done to him, that's an impressive record and he maybe hasn't received enough credit for getting so many goals. It does strike me though that in general there haven't been as many prolific goalscorers in the league as there were in previous seasons. If Henry or RVN were still around (and fit) you would probably expect to see them getting in the 20's.

He is indeed very underrated. Thats fine though- means we wont lose him to one of the big clubs.

Probably due to his "failure" at Inter Milan, and a not so pleasant spell at Leeds.

Such moves make or break reputations. He's never been deemed in the top tier since, despite proving at both club and country level.

Being Irish is also far less glamorous then being a long haired latino with an exotic name. Were he Roberto Keenioeri from Buenos Aries, he would have been much more recognised.

Incidentally, that list also shows another massively underrated player- Benni McCarthy. Should his limbs last and he plays in this league for another 5 or 6 seasons, he wont be far off 100 by the time he retires

    Yep.

Then again, so has Ronaldo surely.

Most impressive in that list is Tevez, hadnt realised he's been so prolific this season. Caliban = legend <Ale>

Not a bad record for Tevez considering that he doesn't take the pens or freekicks for Man Utd.

I think RVP has scored 8 in 11 games in the league in 2007. If only he could stay fit he would probably be up towards the top of this list. Sad

Rooney had a good start to 2006/2007 but faded after February. He has been injured for a good part of this campaign too.

It really is worrying that there is not one English player in the list.

I thought Rooney playe best in March to be fair. Its a worrying sign. Any decent strikers we have nowadays seem to be hampered by injury problems

Ashton, Heskey, Rooney, Owen, Johnson, - all crocked for a bit chunk of the year

Defoe, Crouch, Derbyshire, Lita - sparingly used, yet still very high goals to minutes ratios in general

He can, just Benitez is clueless when it comes to the final third of the pitch. His record at signing strikers and attackers in general is poor, despite having a LOT of money to work with at Liverpool. The two he got right he sold (Garcia) and doesn't play (Crouch).

Great in some respects, but this is a devastating weakness in Rafa's armoury.
