After staying up on the last day last season, we haven't had a good start to this season. Brian Little will hopefully move us back up the table and into the playoffs, but with only 5 points from the last 13 games I don't think he's the man to take us forward. We need someone like Lippi, Rijkaard or Mourinho who's gonna get us up into the higher leagues - not Benitez coz he's Cr@p.

Star players are Chris Llewllyn and Neil Roberts. Both should be playing for Premiership clubs. Mark Jones is having a great season (better than Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Fabrecrap and all those wastes of space and only 23).

Next game against Stockport at home. Should be 3 points. Easy stuff.

Walsall hate Wrexham too...and therefore, having family from Walsall who were/are Walsall fans...I hate Wrexham...and from what I can gather, Walsall don't like Shrewsbury either lol!

    Hi

Hows life at the New Gay Meadow?

You had a good win over us earlier in the season but we will get even at the Meadow. We are doing better away from home so far this season, different to last season where we couldn't hit a barn door away from home.

I had high hopes for Little but so far he hasnt produced the goods. But I still think he will given time.

too true, there's a long-standing walsall-shrewsbury rivalry. used to be in the same division, but they been higher up the league most of my life (although they had a brief stint in league 2 last year)

I like Walsall through family links...I look out for them like I do with Dagenham & Redbridge and Southend...I thought Shrewsbury would have the biggest rivalry with Hereford.

it's good at the new ground. hasn't quite got the same charm as the old, but we're getting used to it. had a bad spell, but we seem to have got through it and have started winning again.

little should be given time, for sure - maybe needs to bring in some of his own players in jan (i don't know if he's done this already)? he's a good manager for our level. he was good for villa, way back when Smile

how's hope doing for you? he was el capitan for the shrews last year. also, i see you've got sammy aiston on loan - another shrewsbury cult hero. he's good fun. can't cross to save his life, but he's entertaining ok

hereford are rivals too, along with chester. but i don't think there's as much history with them, as until the last decade, generally weren't in the same division too much.

Little hasnt had a chance to buy anyone yet but theres not a lot of money to spend so I guess itll be mainly free transfers.

Hope struggled in the first couple of games, but is starting to play well now. Its not easy for him as Williams cant catch a cold never mind a football.

Aistons on loan from Northampton and hasnt really figured much. Did Cr@p on his debut against Chester. For a big guy he got muscled off the ball too easy.

i don't know how good he is these days, his main asset was his pace/relative skill - he'd just run at right backs and terrify them - but as i say his crossing was usually shite. in general, a bit inconsistent.

Its not a bad stadium for league 2 standard. Doesnt get great attendances at the moment, probably because we're doing Cr@p right now.

Just got back. Well we lost again to a good side but shouldve got at least a point. Bad defending from Pejic and Williams let us down for the goal. Only positives were Llewllyn and Roberts who got subbed off again. What is Little playing at?

Did you go to the game? We could really have done with winning that one as we're both likely to be fighting for the playoff places later in the season (with luck).

Bit worried that we might lose our star man Elding though

couldn't make it. had to do the whole xmas visiting relations thing sadly.

we lost today vs wycombe who are just ahead of us. we probably would've moved into the playoffs if we'd won, but they were just better than us all over. it was a horrible game to watch - i don't think we'll be getting in the playoffs this year.

We're on a bit of a run at the moment after a really bad November and a not so good October so I'm just hoping that we stay relatively injury free and start to build up the points. Its so tight mid-table at the moment though
