We had three genuine first team players start (Sagna, Gallas, Hleb) and Cesc came on. The rest are all good enough that they shouldn't be this severely outclassed though. There can be no excuses for this disgraceful performance.

Who cares we had to lose v them some time. Despite it being their match of the season, it's a meaningless match to us.

FFS, what's the point in bringing on Ade and Eduardo. We can only risk injury bringing them on.

since it's already lost, no fierce tackles are expected. Good way to pick up a few live training minutes

At least it adds a slight degree of respectability to the score.

It seems like 99% of managers just don't want own up to making a mistake in the lineup and therefor have to wait until the 60th minute to make a change..

    I don't get it either...

But it should matter more to the players. I don't think Wenger cares much about the tournament, but for a lot of these players it's their best chance to impress in the first team so you expect a bit more effort from them.

Agree. Must be hard none the less if you are a top player at a team that has a pretty young first team that's playing well, breaking in must feel impossible IMO....Smile

That shove in the face from Adebayor was very similar to Essien's v Derby. Webb deals with it correctly and gives a free kick. The other resulted in this:

You have to say Ramos has done some job.

Gone well up in the league, had the balls to drop Robinson, done well in the cups and played well against some of the big teams as well - deserved a point against us, beat Arsenal and drew with them in 3 meetings and been the better team both times.

Best Spainish manager in the Premier League. <Ale>
