De Rossi is certainly a boost, but no Aquilani, no Tonetto? Interesting...

Subs: Julio Sergio; Cicinho, Aquilani, Vucinic, Taddei, Ferrari, Tonetto.
It seems Max isn't injured as he is on the bench, What is Spalletti getting at? Maybe he wants Panucci's CL experience?
The nerves are jangling now. Im ready for it.

Max Power = Tonetto
I'd have my cat over Pizzaro. My cat would do a better job of tracking back.

Fucking ITV are showing Liverpool Vs Inter so it looks like I'll have to go to level 2 and watch the Roma match on Sky on the big screen.
I'm gonna go now, it will be a long trek to get there slowly on wheelchair. My brother has brought me my Roma scarf from home, Im well up for it.

Would I be correct in saying Pizarro has just equalised?

We're putting Roma under a lot of pressure. Let's see if we can find an equalizer.

Well, we'll have to overturn this result in the Bernabeu. Unlucky to have lost really but that's the way it goes.

Ffs, cant believe we didnt get the second goal.
1. Schuster needs to gamble more and make changes quicker, Drenthe's energy really made a difference at the end, Ruud nearly scored.
2. Sent Heinze to the Castilla, guy is pants.
3. Why'd Ramos have to pick up a yellow in the oppositions box Confounded.
4. Robben looked lively, suppose Schuster took him off before he broke
We'll overturn this at the Bernabeu
HALA MADRID!

Another sad episode of violence related to football occurred in Rome as a fan of Real Madrid was stabbed near the Stadio Olimpico ahead of the Champions League match against Roma.
Italian media are reporting that a Real Madrid fan has been stabbed just before the team's match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
The two teams have been drawn together in the last 16 stage of the Champions League, with the first leg in Rome.
The young fan has been hospitalised after suffering several cuts to his backside following a bust-up with fans on a square in the Italian capital near the stadium.
It seems that almost always when an important match is played at the Stadio Olimpico, particularly European games against Roma, there is news of fans of the opposition team getting injured after knife attacks.

I thought he should have done better. He seems to be slow in mind and play too much to the ref. He should stop doing all the time and just concentrate on playing.Nummer 14 wrote:Robben looked excellent.
Now the return leg we don't have Ramos, so the back four would probably be Salgado, Cannavaro, Heinze and Torres (Marcelo). We are bound to conceed. Hopefully, Robinho will be back and Schuster plays more attacking lineup than treblepivote.

Knowing the ultra of late with Moron Calderon's blessing, there could be some trouble in Madrid next week. Lets hope the club does something preventitive before too late...

Number 30, AMANTINO MANCINI!!!
Ah great match. Roma started out sloppy and paid for a soft goal scored by Raul's 60th European strike. Robben was running us ragid, creating chances every time he got onto the ball and I feared RM would get on a roll and score a second. Future Captain De Rossi started to get a hold of the midfield a lot more and we then began to dominate, with Mancini, as usual looking the most likely to score. A great run from Amantino where he crossed in hit the back of Er Pupone and fell to the Fat C*nt, who dually obliged! From there it was all us. We started the second half brightly and a long ball eluded Heinze, fell to Il Capitano who controlled well and slid Mancini in, the rest is history. Nurses looking at me strangely while I frantically waved my scarf around with a big smile on my face, I think some of them were frightened I'd try and get up off of my wheelchair.
Fantastic performances from De Rossi and Amantino, the midfield engine and the biggest attacking threat. Yet again that overweight Chilean bastard failed to help in defence, leaving De Rossi all alone to mop up, thats why Real Madrid overran us in midfield. Don't get me wrong here Pizarro is a good player, but he is just about the laziest CM in the Serie A, which totally doesn't suit our style and is detrimental to the wholes set up. Hopefully Il Bimbo d'oro can reclaim his spot back in the midfield because when he came on today the likes of Guti and Gago had much less space to exploit. Perrotta is really struggling for form, I don't know if his injury is still affecting him but he needs to reclaim his early season form right now because the CL is really hoting up, Juve are approaching rapidly for second place and the Coppa Italia is down to the last 4 and is our most realistic chance of winning a cup this season.
I thought the match was very even and that Madrid didn't deserve to lose at all, let's hope for a good game in Spain.
