Very unusual that the Southend United vs. Barnsley is to be played on a Friday evening, its not been moved for live television coverage either.

It is good for the Cup that we have had a number of Premiership casualties already.

I heard last year that the Semi-Finals had been planned to be at the new Wembley.

I'm not sure if this has been confirmed.

I cant wait for Sheff Utd away, we are taking 6/7,000 to Bramall Lane even though its on a sunday evening and the game is on TV, its going to be a great atmosphere. However, i expect a tough game but we should have the quality to get through.

Southend have a league game on Monday against Leeds so they asked the FA to move the tie forward

Very surprised as well. 3pm kick-off at Anfield.

I thought the BBC loved the meaning and the fantasy of the FA Cup. The JJB will probably be half full again.

Anyone going to predict a score for that one, I wonder how many 'big name' players Rafa will pick.

Really this is amazing. Man United would be favourites but Spurs caused them problems early on this season; only a good defensive display + the woodwork denied Spurs and a Nani screamer .. then again Ronaldo & Rooney were absent + Tevez was early in his Man United career (no pre-season and was lacklustre) now the Triumvirate would be unleashed. To beat Ramos is not a job for Kids, eh Wenger?

It's unbelieveable how our game isn't on TV, the biggest game that H and W will ever play and the fans that can't get there wont be able to see it.

I think we'll win about 3 or 4-0, no way will it be an 8-0 or something like that, not if Kuyt plays anyway.

don't know. it usually is for any north vs south games, but i don't think they decide venues till they know the teams.

it will be host to some vital and exciting premier league fixtures though, no doubt sunny

Southend have played loads of Friday night games in the last 3/4 years. I've been to at least 4/5 of them...and that's a small number.
