They did themselves proud and run themselves into the ground, something maybe a few of our players could look and learn.
As well coming to Anfield and having 'a go' at us from the off, it something the majority of teams who have come to Anfield this season haven't.

It was great to see the reception they got at the end from their own fans and the Liverpool fans who stayed back to applaud them.

I hope they use the revenue they've made wisely and best of luck in the future.

Haven't seen the game yet, but this is what the FA Cup is all about, minnows playing larger clubs and giving a good account for themselves.

    Congrats Havant and Waterlooville Ale

They lost FFS! Sorry but in France Calais(kind of Waterloo and havant) in 2000 played the final against Nantes and they were 1-0 up!

All the french were behind them but the ref decided to give the victory to nantes with an unfair penalty (2-1 at the end) <Ale>

There is nothing amazing in that story..They just won vs a shitty d1 team and lost then at Anfield...Hardly a miracle. <Ale>

It's not the same. Calais is a 3rd tier side, Havant are a non-league side - their players are barmen, plumbers etc. But yes Calais achievement is probably better, nobody is arguing against that though so your point is pointless. <Ale>

Havant & Waterlooville are 6 leagues below Liverpool Arnaud and are part-timers. I haven't been able to get out of the flat for the last few days as the rubbish has piled up and is now blocking the front door. Thank f@ck Tony Taggart won't be playing Liverpool every week. Ale

At Calais too all the players had an other job!

After their exploit some professional clubs wanted to sign 1 or 2 of their players.Only one moved to a team in England (d1)

Sorry but Calais wasn't in d2 they were mid table in french d4...english d3 if you prefer <Ale> and they won away vs Strasbourg and i will always rememebr they won at Lens vs Bordeaux when Bordeaux had an amazing team with Rame,Dugarry and co..Amazing..They won after extra time. The stadium was in fire! <Ale>

Great, but who really cares? We can't give Havant credit because another small team in france did better 8 years ago?

Give credit to who you want Kimbo mate.

the hypocrisy is that you refused to give credit to english players when they failed to qualify for the euro and now you give credit to player who lost at anfield 5-2...
