But this is part of my point. If he enquired and got a big fat no, why are Utd fans so pissed about this now. Fergie shouldn't have waited until the last minute for any transfers. Then this wouldn't bug their fans so much.

Its getting impossible for us to improve though with Chelsea buying every single player out there, even ones they don't really need. I supose if players a dumb enough to sign for them and have their careers stall then what can you do?

All of the top 4 managers are cunts imo, but Mourinho winds people up the easiest (and everyone knows sometimes he is doing it on purpose just to prove how easily some fans get wound up).

Don't like Kenyon. He was an ar$ehole at Man Utd, and he's an ar$ehole still. Abramovich I believe is a top man (not just for his money, but he shows real passion for the club too - travels to all home and away matches)

I think one of our problems is how bitter and twisted the English press can be - which is why I would prefer it if Jose could just be careful what he says - or do a Ferguson, and simply refuse to give interviews to certain people.

You seem to take this quite personal Ballack. I don't think its the same really... not today. Its obvious to alot of football fans that its the dealings behind the West Ham transfer that get on people's tits. I think it should in a certain way.

I have no problem with it in the sense that if it makes this prem season an exciting one with lots of talents on display, then I'm all up for it. However, Roman is running Chelsea like George Steinbrenner runs the New York Yankees. Looking at their situation gives you a chance to look into prem's future. Yankees buy every great player in sight (for transfer sums of up to $180m. Oh yes, football is still mild compared to that) and bench them. Every time someone becomes a prospect they buy him. As a result, for the last ten years, they've been in every final except one, and won every one of them. Baseball (not talking as a sport now) is a competative farce.

With Chelsea now you have the seeds of a future Goliath where only qualitative lesser teams can challenge them. Look at the top opposition now, ManU in decline, Arsenal stuttering out of the blocks, and as good a team and squad Liverpool have, the majority of their players are individually lesser. What Roman is doing now, is not only changeing the present, but also making sure that in the future no top player would be able to go to the compitetion without him having their name on a paper. Giddit!?
