Chelsea-Olympiakos
Real Madrid-Roma

Inter-Liverpool (next week)

A slightly off topic question but when is the draw for the 1/4 finals going to be made?

Probably only after the UEFA Round of 16 ties are done. So next Friday (14-Mar) perhaps.

& that draw maps out the rest of the tournament doesn't it? So you know whoever wins the quarters, who they will face in the semi's.

Yeah that's usually what happens. And from the QFs on there's no seeding or country protection.

At least we'll have a game the next week as well.

according to UEFA, he did well in his last two games .. but this is a different kettle of fish should do well, Scholes & Hargreaves on the bench including Saha and Tevez.

You are just delaying the inevitable , need to get your league campaign back on track.

It'll be funny to see how people react to this win. I expect a lot of hype and effusive praise in the media tomorrow. I'm sure some people will point out the negatives (ie it distracts from our league campaign), but they would have been even quicker to highlight the negatives if we lost. Overall, I think this was an overwhelmingly positive result for us. We needed a win, and this should give the side so much confidence. Hopefully the draw is kind to us, because we're going to get a tough run of fixtures now.

It's a bit strange that the CL holder has gone out in the 2nd round for the 4th consecutive seasons now

that was the only reason i thought arsenal could surprise. also strange that no defending champion has been to the final in some time now.
