So the time has come when we learn of the non-league teams that we will all be cheering for this season as the look to do some giant killing! The draw is tomorrow night and the second round kicks of tonight with a HUGE game at the Walks as Norfolk's only other team competing nationally, Kings Lynn of the Southern Premier, take on Oldham currently in the League 1 play offs!
This is fantastic for the club. I was going to go to the game before I learnt that it was on Sky. Perhaps the biggest game in the clubs history since they took on Everton in the third round decades ago. Oldham will certainly enter a difficult atmosphere to play in. Kings Lynn is one of the roughest towns I have visited and the "Linnets" crowd is often quite hostile. IF they do upset the Latics tonight (gonna take some doing of course) a Norfolk derby would look quite tasty, or of course one of the big teams. What a huge occasion that would be for these part timers!
Sky Sports 1, in half an hour for anyone who fancies watching!
