Very similar to Fat Sam in many respects.

Two managers who wanted away from their respective clubs that were consistent though unspectactular to clubs that would give them the nesscery funds needed that they never had before hand.
But maoned about the financial situations and lack of money and both have spent vast amounts on dire garbage.

Rumours in the Irish press that Slaven Bilic is being lined up as a possible replacement for Curbs.

Bilic is very cool. Don't think he's a particularly talented manager (I could be wrong), but he's a smart bloke who could in theory go far with a relatively wealthy Premiership club.

    I don't think they're $h!t, but their ceiling is mid-table.

They're like Curbishley's Charlton of a few seasons back.

A more highly crippled over paid version ok

Come to think of it, Curbs only good buy has been Matty Upson.

    Lucas Neill Laugh
Thank God he rejected us for the higher wages of West Ham.

Julien Faubert, is another waste of space, though admittedly he was unlucky with his injury.

Nah, they can go for an UEFA-cup place one year and relegate the next one. Not exactly a midtable team. Aston Villa now that is midtable team, or Spurs of course.

I love hearing this "mid-table" team bollocks...

We are one of the most erratic teams in the league...our home form is like our away form...we'll beat Man Utd, Liverpool and lose to Wigan and Newcastle...one season we'll finish 5th or 7th...then the next fight relegation...that's nothing like mid-table Doh.

Our ceiling is not mid-table either...considering we are about 5/6 points off of 7th place with a run in that isn't particularly difficult.

We are going through a rough patch...which is what happens to every team. Man City were on fire in the first couple of months...sitting in 3rd for ages, now they are fighting for UEFA cup...and don't look that likely to get a place.

Not surprised Tweedle has started this though Laughing

Couldn't care less on slly one line answers which declare us mid-table...but I for one know what we are capable of. We are $h!t at the moment and need to change our manager.

West Ham are massive underachievers, plagued by average players, injuries and conservative management.

No ones said you are a mid-table club but this team/squad is mid-table.
