we all know germany is the favourite to become european champion 2008 in football, but the reality is .......

    lehmann----------benchwarmer
    lahm------------average the last time
    merte-----------average
    metze--------injured
    friedrich-----------average

    ballack-------in good shape
    schneider------injured most time, now average
    frings---------injured
    schweini--------average

    klose---------good
    gomez-----very good

    poldi--------benchwarmer
    m. friedrich---playing very good, could be the metze replacement
    borowski-----average
kuarniy----please let this average kit at home, he deserves not a german dress

it could be a good thing, most of our player in bad shape or coming from an injury and still playing $h!t, they all can be in best form in 3 months, when the tournament stars

If either of the two Friedrichs end up playing I can not see Germany going far at all in the EM. Not only has A. Friedrich been rubbish this year he has often played at CB.

The rest of the team I am not worried about, Lehmann does better in big matches and that midfield (Schweini apart) is very consistant and reliable. Up front things are also looking good.

Schneider has been injured a lot but is not average. This must be some German thing, everyone refuses to give Schneider his deserved credit but are willing to treat Van der Vaart as if he were the best player in the world.

If Schneider were married to one of the No Angels he would be probably considered the best player in the Bundesliga.

Glad you noticed that there is something wrong about Germany!

Anyway lets talk about the team, if the EC would be held in 2007..Germany would have won it.

But reallity is...its going downhill again.

Dont be affraid though...cause after year we seem te be getting in shape again!

    cheers

You missed out Frings, Germany's best player, although poor lad suffered a long term injury if he plays well he can carry Germany on his back.
