and offer the job to Bilic, the Croatian national manager

    http://www.welt.de/sport/article1808806/Bilic_bestaetigt_Angebot_vom_Hamburger_SV.html

    scratch

the good news is we Hamburg fans won't have to watch Dutch defensive nonsense anymore

    cheers

the bad news is that Bilic has no real club managent experience

I also seem to remember that he is an idiot; he might have changed though

better than getting Rutten, van Basten, Rijkaard or hiddink any time I say

    Frustrated?

    15/3/08 U17 EC qualification Ireland

    Germany U17 0 - 2 Portugal U17
Pereira Reis 68, Teixeira Caetan 74

    cheers

    Portugal on top
Both these sides drew their openers 1-1 on Thursday; Portugal held by Greece, Germany meeting group hosts the Republic of Ireland. Germany had the better of the early play today but Portugal struck on the quarter-hour when a Januário Jesus cross was headed in by Nuno Reis. Although Germany continued to press, they lost substitute Patrick Hermann to a 70th-minute red card for a foul on Mario Duarte, and Portugal exploited that one-man advantage when Januário broke and set up substitute Rui Caetano to head a second. That goal took Portugal to the top of the group as their Tuesday opponents Ireland lost 2-1 to Greece. Germany must beat Greece by a three-goal margin and hope Ireland defeat Portugal by a smaller scoreline to have any chance of travelling to Turkey for the finals in May.

& the endless conveyor belt keeps on producing scheisse....

    ----

Last time (early 80s) HSV won the Bundesliga was thanks to Happel, who made you play Dutch. In 25 years with crappy German managers you won f@ck ALL; You were a mess when Stevens came, now you're 2nd in the Bundesliga...

    Happel made us play AUSTRIAN

Shows how little you know about football, the offside trap which Happel introduced to German footy & the playing without an Ausputzer is something he picked up in Holland. We invented the offside trap as an attacking weapon. Happel made Hamburg play Dutch, a style he came accustomed with (was not invented by him) when winning the European Cup with Feyenoord & being in charge of the Dutch national team. Recently on ZDF/ARD Netzer said about the same. Happel arriving was a turning point in Bundesliga tactics history.

Netzer did not mention Holland. And he's right Happel's early 80s HSV revolutionised German footy you should know that.

I know about everything about Happel. He himself said he adapted Dutch footy & exported it to HSV.

You're still the nitwit who's dead wrong. Happel made HSV play Dutch.

A flat 4 defence playing as high up the pitch as possible (playing for offside) was not Happel's invention. He learned that system in Holland.

    lol!

I'm honoured I was first on their list, but I rather stay with the Croatian national team.

Stupid of HSV to go public wanting Bilic, which was no option anyway. Now all other potential managers will know they're 2nd choice.

HSV did NOT go public at ALL , you Dutch liar

BILIC told the press that HSV had told him he was ONE OF THE CANDIDATES and that he was very flattered, this being a chance of a life-time....

I would have preferred Bilic over Rutten, Labbadia or even Klopp, but don't think he is ready for such a huge job yet

    quite a greenhorn

also , he seems to be somewhat deluded

he already told reports he was planning a dream-midfield of

    VDV next to Modric

    lol!

I hope HSV know what they are doing

van Gaal is overrated IMHO, but if he agreed to play attractive football with young German players , he could be an option

they could buy Schlaudraff and add Gebhardt from 1860, Odonkor on the right, sell de Jong and get Polanski (who is rotting away on the bench under another evil Dutchie)

then they should get Riemann as second goalie

A mistake (like you saying he 'now' extended his Croatia deal), not a lie.

As we say in Holland: "Zoals de waard is vertrouwt hij zijn gasten"

the president of the Croatian FA admitted they would be unable to keep him , if he decided to leave

now Bilic has said he is staying put

looks like he used HSV as a bargaining chip

this is BAD NEWS for England

That president said that because he knows is doesn't make sense to keep somebody agianst his wishes. They had an option to extend his deal. Seems Bilic indeed used HSV, to get more money. Never thought Bilic was an option for HSV. Croatians are very nationalistic. Bilic had already kind of said he'ld continue. Would have difficult to ever return to Croatia if he snubbed them for HSV.

I think he is pure Croatian evil

in 1996 he kicked Ziege who was lying on the ground

    what a coward

apparently the HSV board told him he could not bring all his assistants with him

some supervisory board members told him he would have to get rid of his ear-ring, which he has worn since his birth

would van Gaal take the job

Haven't got a clue about Van Gaal's intentions. Since he hasn't been sacked by AZ yet, I'm assuming he'll stay overthere (has a contract until 2010, clause only allows him to go for a few specifically mentioned national teams).
