Strange guy. Not like he is getting hype like Beckham, Gerrard or Rooney get.

Agree with the hype point overall but David Bentley is 10 times the player Stephen Hunt will ever be. IMO Hunt is a in your face Robbie Savage type player with a bit more ability going forward.

"People don't go on about Damien Duff and Robbie Keane every day so they need to get a life."

I go on about Damien Duff every day, i go on about how shite he is and how we need to get rid. <Ale>

tbh savage is annoying and can be dirty but Hunt is much worse on the dirty side of things

c**t of a player and now it seems a c**t of a person. Why would you be so bitter over someone else getting credit? People don't go on about Duff because he's gone to shite when he looked great he got as much hype as anyone.

So true. when he was at Blackburn it was all "He's world class, I wish he was English", etc. etc.

That beret that he wears to post-match interviews = FFS!

Some Celtic fans really want him at Celtic Park. They want him to get stuck into some Rangers players. Sad.

True, when he was at Blackburn he was unstoppable and I was gutted when Chelsea came in for him thus increasing his transfer fee as Liverpool were heavily being linked with him. He was great for Chelsea when they first won the title, him and Robben together was probably the best wing partnership around. I never understood why Mourinho sold him but for whatever reasons he was right too cause he has been utter shite since for club and country.

Irish people have been calling Hunt a c**t for ages now, never ceases to amaze me the hate he brings out of people Razz
