Worst Club Coach of the Year Award

This is for coaches who have talent at their disposal, but have performed horrendously. Obviously there is really only one stand-out candidate. However, there may be some deluded enough to consider other candidates, so you can nominate them and add to the list

Bert van Marwijk!! Koeman did well with PSV in the beginning of this football season! Besides is Valencia really that talented

Mancini is awesome in Serie A. No question.

But in Europe his tactical marbles are missing. Frankly, he has been unable to steer a very talented Inter past Liverpool, but that's not all. It is the manner of the defeats. And let's not forget his "I am quitting, no I am not" act. Any coach who would say that at such a crucial point in the season is a goddamn moron.

anybody who treats a club legend like albelda the way koeman did deserves this award 100% imho

How? He wasn't there long enough to screw up Ajax's season as royally as Koeman has done at Valencia and he isn't a head coach any more. I think Koeman's body of useless work over the course of the season beats ten Cate hands down. The award is for this season alone.

He was undoubtedly Cr@p for Fuoham, but what did they expect to achieve - safety, a minor cup, Uefa if they over-performed. He has Cr@p judgment, but his lack of coaching skills cannot be compared with Koeman. To inherit a suad challenging for everything and lead them to the brink of relegation is an achievement unsurpassed in the Cr@p coaching stakes of this season.

Spending 40M euros and then having to fight against relegation...

40M is an *insane* amount for the Dutch league.

FC Groningen spent 13.5 M euros in total over the past 8 seasons (just buying, not taking sales into account) !!!

And we're only missing out on CL playoffs because we've been robbed empty at the start and halfway through the season.

Correction : because we're also suffering with 7-8 injuries, without that we still would have stood a chance with our depleted squad.

Van Gaal's performance this season makes Roeder look like a decent manager and McClaren like a wise squad selector....

A fully deserved dishonourable mention for van Gaal then but Koeman is still top of the dungheap.

Rijkaard for having one of the best squads in Europe and being 7 points behind a team with average players who can't even get a draw without contreversial decisions going their way.

van Gaal has still his entertainous press conferences to fall back on.

van Gaal and Koeman really hate eachother though, so I guess EMP will like him.

With all due respect to both Koeman and vGaal, but Gertje Aandewiel is the worst of the lot and a money grabbing c**t in the process.
