Copa del Rey Final: Getafe - Valencia

From the Vicente Calderon stadium tonight (22:00 h). It's maybe the last chance for Koeman to save his job, definitely the last chance for Valencia to salvage something from the season. Getafe have an opportunity to get back into Europe next season and overcome the disappointment from their UEFA Cup elimination against Bayern.

I like Getafe and won't begrude them a win, but if Valencia have any hope of retaining their best players (which I hope they do) they probably need to be in Europe next year.

The most intriguing thing about this final is that Valencia fans have as many reasons for wanting their club to lose than to win. Koeman staying is their worst nightmare that could come true if they win the Copa. But if they don't they won't even get UEFA Cup football next season, which could be unacceptable for the likes of Villa and Miguel.
