Russian League >> Scottish League >> Portuguese League >> French League >> Eredivisie

    http://www.sport1.de/de/sport/artikel_2236343.html

La Liga is now on 13.875 in the UEFA Coefficient ranking of this year

the Bundesliga effectively on the same level with 13.500

    = statistically irrelevant

frankly, an awful day for Pierre Littbarski and his French-Italian-Spanish love-affair coupled with an unhealthy hatred for German football

the boy is now officially discredited

factor in the complete lack of resources in the Bundesliga and the best management efforts are now on display in Germany by German managers

    well children

there is no denying that the EPL top 4 have been causing some havoc in the CL which brought the league truckloads of points

in the UEFA Cup EPL clubs stunk, of course, + there is no strength in depth at the bottom

    ie

    Rostock >>> Derby

    +

even the top EPL 4 are tedious beyond belief

if it wasn't for Ballack there is no way I would watch this years' CL final

even ManU are now playing unbelievably boring footy: and they are known as the league's pretty boys

    still

EPL Top 4 clubs have money and momentum on their side

the Bundesliga will need about 4 to 5 years to catch up

    wahre G

the fascinating thing is that the BUndesliga is now better than Seria A and effectively as good as La Liga (although the Dutchies Koeman and the Lama have destroyed much of the league's quality)

things are looking up in Germany , I dare say

    with three exceptions

    1. Bremen will refuse to get rid of underachiever Schaaf

    2. Slomka was replaced by mediocre Dutchie Rutten

    3. Klinsi is replacing Hitz

    the good news is

    1. Skibbe is getting his act together at Bayer

    2. Stevens and other Dutchies are leaving HSV

    3. Stuttgart will turn the corner

    4. Doll, surely, has to go now at Dortmund

    5. Hoffenheim will be in the 1. League

Well otto, arguably the two best ties of the CL this year have been all english affairs, so if england stinks, what does this say about all the others teams

Schalke affraid . What a terrible team to watch they were

The reason you got a team to the semi final in the Uefa cup was because your best team, who spent billions of pounds last summer were in it. You will not have this luxury next season

When were the last German team in the final of either trophy btw ? Was it before boro were in the final by any chance ?

Everton and Spurs were knocked out on pens. There is no disgrace in that. Germany's finest getting hammered by a dutchie though Biggrin

I don't think anyone will believe your bundesliga hype until they actually starting showing it in europe consistently. It's obvious serie A is in a bit of a mess at the min, but they WILL recover. Real and barca just need a decent coach to help them challenge again and comparing la liga's strength in depth to the bundesliga's would be an insult to any human with even the smallest bit of common sense.

It is not looking good for you otto, but the brave face you are putting on this is commendable, if somewhat embarrassing Biggrin

    the Bundesliga needs time

    AGREED

Bremen under Schaaf will NEVER even remotely compete either in the UEFA Cup or the CL

that's the price you pay for dogmatic beauty

Schalke under Rutten will go nowhere either, unless he is allowed to spend Slomaka's hard earnt CL success

Leverkusen need 3 more years to challenge for CL Semi places, but are growing nicely without spending money

Bayern under Klinsi will either impress or fizzle out

    watch this space

problem with Bayern is that the arrival of Toni and Ribery has completely destroyed the team's mojo in Europe

Klose is a shadow of his former self

    ditto Schweini and Poldi

Lahm is so fed up he now wants to leave

either Bayern sell the two mercenaries who hog the limelight or they continue their path and buy even more big foreign names

    still

the Bundesliga is unbeatable when it comes to entertainment

    +

it's better than Seria A and as good as La Liga

and that's what counts as long as your national team is ruling over the entire world

And the club at the top next season will be Chelsea, (despite having a ridiculously overrated manager for 3 of the last 5 seasons). Wink

Yep. That's why a Dutch manager has never won the Bundesliga, although a lot of them tried. Laugh

the Dutch silence on this thread is deafening

their league is only 9th after all

I hope that's not because players like Sneijder, Matthijsen, de Jong, Castelen, Drenthe, Kuyt, Babel and van Bommel are now playing abroad

the Dutch talent drain is just too much even for the mighty Eredivisie

    Laugh
