Of course some fans will want to turn things around. in the end if the club president wants to get mourinho then there is nothing they can do. for example there were several madrid fans i knew that wanted Capello but when the team started playing they got in his back very quickly. they fooled themselves into thinking that he would adapt to madrids style which didnt happen at all.

I did not say FC Barcelona is the greatest club in the world. I said that IN SOME RESPECTS it could possibly call itself that, the same as that Real, Man U, or Milan could (using perhaps slightly different criteria)

I challenge anyone to come up with a CLUB that has:
- won as many trophies AS A CLUB (not just football)
- has as many paying members
- represents and has represented as much to an entire region/nation in a cultural and political sense
- a similar popular organization (where members are the factual owners of the club)

-Had players like Maradona,Cruijff,Romario to name a few.
-The biggest stadium of European Clubs and a 15,000 stadium for the B team.
-The club have more than 150,000 members paying 150€ per year.
-The club have more than 1.300 official supporters groups around the world.

Also didnt polls on SPORT show the same? i think the barcelona fans also chanted his name in training a couple of weeks ago so it seems that there is more then just golsud who want him.
i suspect just like with Capello that the fans will turn on him if the football gets ugly.

The majority of fans do want Mourinho in, but like supermadrid said, when he wins, it's bearable at best. Imagine when he loses

Also, I'm not convinced that Mourinho really made, or can keep, any kind of promise to "change his style". At Chelsea he played the same football as at Porto, and everyone was happy because they won titles. The 4-3-3 with Robben and Duff wasn't that bad to watch either, but was essentially still always about making sure you're covered at the back first before going forward.

But when Abramovich started demanding better football, Mourinho couldn't deliver. And worst of all, in his desperation to win the CL, he came up with that absolutely awful diamond midfield, featuring 4 CMs, and with all the play going through the middle, focused on power and strength rather than any flair or skill.

Both papers now going on a charm offensive to try and convince people (and themselves) about Guardiola. Here's an article from MD, similar to some stuff that SPORT has. Both seem to agree that Guardiola will bring his own team of staff up from the B team...but we really need to have at least one experience staff member/coach IMO!
