For me, the Italian Gary McAllister (only he plays a bit deeper).

The similarities between the 2 - they've both been great servants to the game without being true legends, they both have a great range of passes.

Mainly the fact that, although they play centrally and not wide, they are 2 of the best crossers of a ball you'll ever see (with little backlift).

    @ Pierre

He is a truly amazing player, one of my all-time favorites, i was priviledged to watch him live for a match in his first season with Palermo after his transfer from Chievo, until then i only had pictures of him on my wall and watched him on the TV.

It is a disgrace that he has been overlooked for the national side, even for a friendly, Lippi should have given him a game his form esp. in 2004/05 was amazing.

Trap you can understand, Corini nor Pirlo were Trap 'model' players. It is probably too late for him now, but fantastic memories, great crosser as you say, incredible vision and range of passing, technique, and a great tactical fouler Wink

Judging by his latest comments, he seems to want to replicate what the one you affectionately call the Donkey has done, and play for italy. Shame there's plenty of better strikers who are already Italian by birth.

I quite like Anderlecht, they play attractive football and they're a decent side so it's nice to win. I have massive trouble keeping up with pre-season friendlies to be honest. Lazio's site doesn't have any English on it, so it's hard for me to understand what's even going on before the season starts Embarassed
