In reality we don't have even one DM - Neville is a right back, Rodwell is still not ready for a major role, Fellaini had to be pushed for a AM/SS spot, Castillo was not good enough and he's gone, and Arteta is more comfortable playing as CM than DM.
So guy like M'Bia would be a nice addition, can't say anything about Matuidi.

Ok, but how many attacking minded player have they signed -beyond Saha- in these current 5 players? It's been RB, DF, DM etc
2 years ago we brought Yakubu, last summer we brought Fellaini, who spent most of the season playing in AM/SS role (despite playing CM for Standard Liege and Belgium NT). Also Pienaar was first loaned 2 years ago and then bought last summer.
But we lost James McFadden (useful LW/Striker sub player) and Andy Johnson. But with 4-5-1 suiting us best (mostly because of Cahill being such an quality player in AM/SS role, and Fellaini is not so far behind) we don't need as many strikers, even if buying right winger is a priority for us (or it should be).

Still, a very pragmatic yet efficient team for me

Pana have got Djibril Cisse and are apparently after Katsouranis and Leto.

If they keep Karagounis and Mantzios then Ten Caate could turn that side into a real banana skin for English/Spanish/Italian side in the CL qualifiers.

Polish central midfielder Rafal Murawski (Nt player) joined russian champion Rubin Kazan for around 2.5m euro. Him leaving Lech Poznan means, that neither Stilic nor Robert Lewandowski nor Herman Rengifo will leave Lech this summer, as their owner promised that only one key player will be sold now.

Marseille on the verge of signing M'Bia from Rennes. He has stated that he wants to join Marseille (rather than a british club), but the two clubs have yet found an agreement.

M'Bia could be fourth signing for Marseille after Lucho, Cisse (Fenerbache), and a young unknown Cameroon defender.

Marseille are also negociating the transfer of the best defender of Bordeaux this year, Diawara.

Marseille are going to kick ass next year (in France)

Mandanda- Taiwo- Bonnart -Diawara- Hilton -- M'Bia, Cheyrou (cap) - Ben Arfa- Lucho-- Niang- Brandao

Sub: Wiltord, Valbuena, Zenden, Civelli, Cisse, Kone

Cheyrou was voted best player from Marseille's fans. His carreer will obviously be better than his brother who failed at Liverpool.

Word has it that my man Juan "El Loco" Vargas may play for Real Madrid. Shocked

Here's the deal, Real Madrid are pitching Drenthe plus CA$H to Fiorentina for Vargas. I know Los Blancos have always wanted to shore up their left side of the field. Why not trust in Marcelo? He's still young. IF Vargas ends up in Madrid what does that mean to the Ribéry transfer? Marcelo could play left back with Vargas as left midfielder bombing forward with his patented bazooka shots plus deadly crosses to Benzema. Fuck! I don't want Vargas at Real Madrid!!! Shocked

I think when he debuted he was seen as very skillful but doesn't seem like an end product player.

They show just about the same intensity in their game for sure. I think Vargas was called "Loco" after this guy though, Juan "El Loco" Seminario. The one who shredded England to the tune of three goals in Perú's destruction of the English 4-1 in Lima when all the starters played (Seminario, Victor Benítez, Juan Joya, Huaqui Sanchez etc.) Biggrin <Ale>

Word has it that them Violas didn't want Drenthe. Real Madrid (it is said) offered the Dutchie plus cash for Vargas, but the Viola told them no thanks. Off the record they told them "get the fuck outta here with that bullshite". Vargas is staying to play CL ball for Fiorentina and so is Felipe Melo.

I don't think my guys are changing stories. Madrid were offering the Dutchie plus cash, fact!. Viola people listened to the offer and told them NO. That's no changing the story, the story is just continuing running its course waiting for Fiorentina response. And they got it.

    Actually the story goes:

Viola wanted Drenthe but RM wanted more money, so Real asked for Vargas to be included in the deal and the fee would be decreased.

He's distinctly average as LB. He's wasted playing that far back. As a LM however, he's a beast.
