    Would anyone disagree?

    Finished 1st and 2nd in the best/toughest? league in Europe. Chelsea only finished 2 points behind Man Utd in the league.

    Both teams go to the final of the Champions League.

    So are they...

    I don't want to agree because I honestly believe Bayern is one of the best teams in Europe at the moment.

    and against bucharest..

    bolton got a draw too in munich..

    zenit beat them 5-1 over two legs..and could have won both.

    but bayern are a top international team... scratch

    just because the BL is weak does not mean bayern are great...you only have to look at the fact that they hardly conceded any goals in the league but against better teams in europe they leaked dozens of them..

    I'd go as far as saying that the EPL probably has 4 of the top 8 teams in Europe this season.

    Can't really say anything about Chelsea, but I know that we had a hell of a lot more trouble playing against Villarreal, Atlético and Real Madrid than we had against Man Utd.

    Of course Man Utd should be congratulated for their amazing run in the CL and the win, but I am not awed by the quality of the football to be honest. Our poorest side in 5 years only lost 1-0 on aggregate to Man Utd.. says quite a lot I think.

    Is that what you thought when you signed Milito, Henry, Abidal, Touré in the summer?

    Your form in the Champions League this season had been good, the only game you lost this season was 1-0 away to Man Utd.

    When the players can be bothered to raise their game then Barcelona is easily one of the best sides in Europe.

    On paper we are extremely strong but in reality we have been very poor.. Even in the CL, we only got so far because we didn't come up against tough teams before the semis.

    We stuttered in the start, had a brief period of good games, and then in the second half of the season we imploded.

    I agree that we played better than in most games against you guys, but it is was still miles away from our form 2 years ago or even last year.

    I am not saying that you aren't the best in Europe.. you are, no doubt about that, but I just don't think there is too much of a gap between the top 20 sides or so..
