But yeah, you are probably right. Not a good example for squad depth indeed, when you can kill England with a Panda...

Heimspiel in Wembley, wir haben ein Heimspiel in Wembley!

We know why they knocked it down Biggrin

And that was a one in a million hit

For your Panda, I'll raise you one Leyton Baines in the under 21's play off (youtube have removed it Sad ) Wink

Well, it does not 'exist' as a football stadium anymore, it's not used for that by Bayern, 1860 and die Nationalmannschaft anymore at least.

Die Arroganz Arena is as impressive at least.

as a football temple: far more so

in terms of architecture on the outside: it's actually not as brilliant as everybody says, even at night

the Olympiastadion, in particular, in WINTER, covered in snow, it just drop-dead-gorgeous

Actually, you are a bit of a bell-end.

England won all 3 groups in qualfication for 2002, 2004 and 2006. Impressively or not, qualification was completed with games to spare.

Germany came second in 2002 and 2008 groups - so what bearing does this issue have?

And you speak of English excuses -

    what about yours?

    a) Germany fail to win WC 2006: blame Klinsmann, despite the fact the guy turned around Germany's fortunes in a short period of time and has left a current legacy

    b) Ballack's lack of form at Chelsea: Well its all Lampard's fault. Nay, its the whole team's fault.

    c) Klose's loss of form at Bremen: Diego's fault.

    d) Klose's loss of form at Bayern: Toni's fault.

    e) The loss of form of the German's at Bayern (Podolski/Lahm/Schweini etc): The foreigners' fault (Toni/Ribery)

It is NEVER the fault of the German superstars is it Otto? Biggrin

Pot kettle black. Save us from anymore hypocritical comparisons!

Mclaren was clueless and incapable. Its not an excuse - its a fact. The previous England sides have been able to qualify for the tournaments, so this one should have been no different with a competent manager

The rest of the excuses made at tournaments are part and parcel of football- we all make them. But when the manager is incapable, its rather more obvious old bean.

Capello's England will almost certainly qualify for 2010 - it is a minimum requirement for an England manager.

Now stop being a bell-end and post a picture of yourself so I can see what all the fuss was about with the Turkish fella Ale Laugh

    @bernd

Schweini is mostly at fault for his own predicament

as for Klose: there is still a submissive Pole in him; you cannot deny it

Ballack: blame the clueless Mourinho foremost

Klinsi: tried to teach Ballack and Co how to head the ball by showing videos of Terry Laugh

you cannot make this stuff up

    lol!

McLaren led Boro into the UEFA Cup Final: yeah right; completely clueless Yikes

    Smile

I suspect England will qualify via the back-door

    but even Capello will struggle

I won't be on here in two years, but you WILL remember what I predicted

    @bernd, you plumb

you really are utterly clueless and completely out of your depth on here, but will probably remain my all-time-favourite poster, simply because it's endearing to see you fail and get up immediately only to fail again to get up immediately to...

    time and time again

Laugh I love you too Otto Hug

The last time I conversed with someone so continuously deluded as you, he was homeless, had been drinking cider for 3 days and hadn't slept for the whole weekend. He believed he was the Prime minister and requested some change for the upcoming budget

I laughed and gave the guy my change and had a five minute chat. He was a real character, despite the fact that he was unable to string together a single, logical thought.

Your posts almost exclusively remind me of that conversation with that fellow Biggrin <Ale> .

Hey I'm with Otto on the Olympiastadion thingy. The Allianz is AWESOME but watched the Sweden game two years ago in the Olympiastadion – glorious times Sad cheers

On the question, I'd say France. And think of who they're leaving out: a French friend of mine is so disgusted with Domenech for leaving out Flamini and Mexes he's decided to support the Vaterland Laugh

OK so, whoops. I'm a bit behind on the non-Deutschland situation I guess... He is a raving Arsenal fan, which explains his disgust at Mathieu not making it, though he still might it seems...
