Robinho on his way out of Madrid? Empty Robinho on his way out of Madrid?

Post by fcb Sun Jun 01, 2008 7:23 pm

After 3 seasons at Real Madrid, and mostly failing to live up to his 30million price tag or "the answer to Ronaldinho" status, Robinho has acknowledged interest from Man. Utd. and Chelsea.

If I was Madrid, I would certainly sell...Schuster doesn't quite seem to know how to fit Robinho in the team, and although the player's best position seems to be behind the striker/s, he has often spent his time playing on the wing for Madrid.

If he does go, would England be the right move? I don't think so - this is a guy who struggled to stay on his feet when he first came to Spain, so imagine how it will be in England, esp. with the majority of fans hating "showboating" players Shocked

People don't hate showboating players - at least not if its one of their own players and they do it well!

He'll get stick from opposition fans, but you get that everywhere, don't you?

He's sheer class when on form. He was for a period of time the best player in La Liga this year, and contributed throughout the season whether goals or assists.

    I hope he stays.

Knowing Madrid, they will ask for €30-35 million. Or they could possibly do a swap + cash for C. Ronaldo. Who knows? This is all speculation.

His true quality is somewhere between how sheva7 rates him and how nightwing rates him Biggrin
