Out of the top 4, i think Bentley could get in the Arsenal team ahead of Eboue and Walcott in a 4-4-2 formation.

You could see him creating a few goals for Adebayor with his crossing.

I don't see why Bentley couldn't work in a 4-5-1. Kuyt is hardly setting the premiership alight in that position so it wouldn't take much to be better than him.

Kuyt has been rubbish in Rafa's system, so i don't understand that at all.

Kuyt got a hell of a lot better for us when he started playing on the forward right hand side last season. He wasn't rubbish in that system, but for most of the season where he was employed as a regular striker he was pants.

I don't see why Bentley couldn't work in a 4-5-1. Kuyt is hardly setting the premiership alight in that position so it wouldn't take much to be better than him.

If you are not going to play winger/forward RW then would it not be better to play Gerrard RW instead of Bentley then sign a midfield playmaker to play behind Torres, e.g. VDV?

I really hope we don't sign Bently because he's too slow and doesn't fit the system which we had success with towards the end of the season. I really hope we don't sign Milner more though, because he's pants. On par with Pennant...maybe even worse

I don't like Bentley for Liverpool, hes another of those English players with a few great attributes but also seems unsuited to any particular position. Hes not a winger (thus, wouldnt suit our current formation), hes not a central midfielder and hes not good enough to play AM for Liverpool..

I agree, also bentley has a piss-poor attitude, refusing to play for the U21s so he can challenge for the main team. f@ck that it's up to the manger to decide which team he should play in etc. I wouldn't go anywhere near him. c**t!
