Brazil were $h!t at the Copa America too but they wooped Argentina 3-0 and have quite a good record against them. plus everybody wants them to lose so Dunga gets fired which of course means that they will woop Argentina again.

Also if you're in the UK, it's on Sky

Looking forward to this game, though have a feeling it'll disappoint. Both have looked very ordinary in recent times (Brasil since the last Confed Cup IMO) Can't believe the current Brasil midfield consists of the likes of Gilberto Silva, Josue, Baptista & Minero (often all at the same time!!! Doh ) Get in Hernanes ffs.

As for Argentina, I thought Messi aside, they were absolutely awful. Cruz is a shockingly bad player, and I'm amazed Basile keeps picking him. He isn't Inter or Argie first team quality. Surely it's time to give Lopez or Cavenaghi a go? They can't do any worse.

Kun looked a bit lethargic against Ecuador, but hopefully he puts in a good performance tonight. Hopefully Pato plays a part too, will be great to see Messi, Kun & Pato on the same pitch.

Isn't it usually the case, that both sides generally get bullied in the others backyard? I wouldn't be surprised if Brasil win

Aye. If you're going to drop Aguero fine, he's still young an inexperienced, but why not bring in someone like Lisando Lopez who has been banging in goals left right and centre at Porto. Doesn't seem to get a chance with the national side. Instead, he sticks with Cruz who is always shocking. He could score a hatrick today for all I care, he's still $h!t

I do think the inclusion of Jonas is a good move though

Diego out for Brasil, Baptista in. $h!t decision, $h!t play. Adriano starts though which I'm looking forward too

I am very happy that boy wonder anderson is playing, he seems to thrive in these big games and I expect a stella performance from him. Will he be able to get the better of Mascherano for the third time this season?! Playing alongside Gioberto I doubt it very much.

I am very disappointed that El Kun isnt playing, although I guess playing twomidgets up front would probably result in a repeat of the Copa final drubbing

It is a shame he never gets his chance as he has impressed this season, remember watching him againist Liverpool and besides Lucho, he looked quite decent. Thought to myself he would be a good back up for Torres but that for another thread.

Think he got a few minutes in one of the recent friendlies, but otherwise no. Cavenaghi is another that could be used.

Anderson off injured, Diego on. Actually thought Anderson was poor. Gave away possession alot, and seemed to run around like a headless chicken

Duno, was it in Bolivia? If they played in La Paz, effects of altitude may be a factor. The other factor, is that Brasil look an ordinary team atm.

As for today's game; it's been incredibly poor, from both sides. A couple of moments from Robinho aside, it has been shite. Messi quiet, Riquelme Cr@p. Usual suspects Cr@p. Adriano has been decent though, worked hard. Crowd has been subdued also. I remember when I was in Buenos Aires for this fixture, the atmosphere was amazing.

I'll probably end up falling asleep in the 2nd half
