too many midfielders on the pitch, compressing the game. Hasn't been worth staying up for yet but hopefully the second half will be better!
Cruz is pointless. is cavengahi on the bench? would like to see him get a go. perhaps even take roman off too and put aguero on, giving messi roman's spot.
Brazil remind me of france, hoping for a moment of genius from their strikers and relying on being big and strong the rest of the time. Dunga is $h!t.
i found a link cheers calidad, i posted that yesterday when i couldn't find any, thinking the game was last night and wondering where they all were :/

What an insipid first half of football, both teams are playing not to lose and constantly hoofing aimless balls to the isolated forwards. There are too many defensive minded players on the pitch who are constantly fouling each other.

It feels like a Liverpool vs Chelsea game (not this seasons CL SF) rather than a game between the two south American heavyweights. Who would have thought that these two teams would produce such a banal game of football.

Dunga is killing me with his negative brand of football, there is no midfield, no attack, no cohesion, just players running around with no purpose. He has taken away the magic, the creativity, the flair, the unpredictabilty, the bravado and everything else that made Brazil good to watch. Brazil really need to get rid him of him, before he ruins their reputation forever.

Anderson was having an average game before he went off injured, he seemed to lack the drive, energy and precision that he exudes for united in the big games. But I guess at united he plays in a team, with better players who all 'show' for the ball.

From what I have seen so far, especially compared to the European Championships, the future of South American football is bleak.

    @Calidad

Cheers I don't really post on forums anymore, but I thought there would be a few people on here who would be watching the game.

I to may go to sleep as this game certainly isn't good enough to make up for how $h!t I will feeel at work tomorow.

Just wait for Dunga to be fired, we will kick your ass one more time <Ale>

Anyway, the game was the ussually Cr@p, but such poor performance and result will cost Dunga, I can see him getting the boot.

    Lets all hope so.

Yikes that was a great guess. What can I say, only watched the end of the game, but from comments the game was bad, our media and fans are pissed. Dunga was hired to be a motivation guy, to make players give more to the national team, erase that horrible performances and attitude of 2006. Man talk about a plan backing fire lol!

The players look lost, unmotivated and apatic. He was not able to make good team selections or give some life in this team. He also makes his relationship with stars hard, yet treats players that shouldnt be in Brasil (like GSilva or Mineiro) in a special way.

Get the hat and f@ck off Dunga, you are not the man for the job.

PS Messi needs to learn hoW to shoot, some of his plays today were abysmal, yet I felt he was close to goal then Brasil attack

I just about managed to stay up for the 2nd half. Argentina were much better in the 2nd half, and probably deserved to win. They passed it around quite well, and Brasil rarely threatened.

Baptista wasn't too bad actually, but he's still not first team quality. Adriano ok, Robinho ok (but anonymous in the 2nd half)

Thought Riquelme was poor again, but he did wonderfully setup Cruz who as expected, miss. I thought Jonas done well and kept width in the team, should be used in future games

    Cruz is poor

Dunga was jeered last night. The Brasil fans kept chanting "Burro, Burro" and "goodbye Dunga"

I'm really disappointed. The match was really boring. At the end brazilian fans were so annoyed that they even chanted Messi's name and "Ole" when Argentina had possession of the ball. The fans also spent the second half calling for Dunga's head.

It really is true though, Brasil are becoming more and more like Bolton. It's very worrying.

I wonder if we need even more DM's in the side

t'was meant in a different context anyway (in the sense that I constantly argue against Dunga's decision to use more and more dm's)

i do have a tiny bit of brasilian heritage anyway (on my mums side), so i probably have more connection with the country than lrd does with man utd anyway. but no i don't support them, but i do support the beautiful game cheers
