Atletico Mineiro downs Flamengo 3-0

Flamengo held on to its fifth place in the standings of the Brazilian league despite its 0-3 loss to Atletico Mineiro on Saturday.

Atletico Mineiro striker Castillo opened the scoring in the 30th minute when he slammed the ball into left hand corner of the net in front of more than 75,000 Flamengo fans at Rio de Janeiro's huge Maracana stadium.

Oliveira made it 2-0 in the 64th minute after receiving the ball from fellow midfielder Serginho. Defender Almeida scored the last goal of the evening in the 74th minute.

As you all know im a BIG Corinthians fan! But due to their unlucky absence, Gremio is the club for me! Always had a weak spot for them cause they played ajax when i was a kid.
