Re: Big Impact Kid? (Serie A)
I liked Zarate so I reckon he'll do well, and of course Giovinco has been impressive in the bits and pieces of Italy's Olympic games that I've seen him in. Don't know too much about the others tbh.

Re: Big Impact Kid? (Serie A)
While quite a few of these could become the revelation of next season, noteably Giovinco and Jovetic, I went for De Ceglie as the one to watch out for... the little I have seen of him, the young LB looks like the real deal! He reminds me of a young Maldini, even at this young age he is always calm, and has good technique while defending and can make impressive runs forward. I liked the look of him for Siena last season, but can he play with that confidence for a big club? If he outshines Molinaro at Juve this season, he could easily turn out to be the revelation...

I haven't really seen much of any of them, but I will go with Giovinco.
Curci may also be another one to look out for

Re: Big Impact Kid? (Serie A)
Giovinco is a medium sized fish in a large pond. IMO he won't have anywhere near the impact that say Zarate will have.

He has not changed clubs... otherwise we will have to also take into account the likes of Balotelli and Pato.Black Magic wrote:Kuzmanovic.

Medium sized? He is tiny! The Atomic Ant!!Tweedle wrote:Giovinco is a medium sized fish in a large pond. IMO he won't have anywhere near the impact that say Zarate will have.
But so far that has not stopped him one bit. Lets see whether he can step up and compete with the likes of Nedved and Del Piero for a starting place.
Zarate is in a smaller club, and is assured of playing a larger role, specially with Rocchi's injury. But talent wise, he is not at the level of the Atomic Ant.

Not medium sized as in height bluey!
Medium as in overall ability - compared to the rest of the squad. My point is that Zarate's ability will be more obvious as he's playing for a less decent side.
Of course Zarate isn't anywhere near Giovinco in terms of talent. He looks a lot better than he is I personally feel - he's great to watch but he's got relatively poor decision making and he's inconsistent to boot.

These are only the kids who have changed clubs.... else players like Balotelli, Cavani, Pato, Santacroce, etc would have dogged the limelight.EMP wrote:How come you didn't include Super Mario?
