"Jetzt" sehe ich das? Diese Diskussion ist mindestens so alt wie dieses Forum. Oft war ich der einzige, der seine Qualitäten zu schätzen wusste. Selbst chrissi ist ihm ein paar Mal in den Rücken gefallen.

The commentator just told the story of the English referee ("Watford - Reading ghost goal").

In a way he was a little unlucky. It was the linesman who flagged for the goal, and he supported that decision. But it's one of those moments that will forever tar his reputation.

He is seen as a bit of a poster-boy for new referees by the Football League, and consequently pushed forward for increasingly senior roles when he isn't ready for them.

Game over now anyway. Czechs have this match in the bag. We're to blame for not using our chances prior to the penalty, which was a disgrace, no matter what the commentator says. Especially the red card in addition to that was ridiculous.

Stuart Attwell, like any Englishman of that generation, clearly had his childhood holidays ruined by Germans and their beach towell antics.

Kudos to the team for still trying. The Czechs really didn't deserve to win today, the referee was a disgrace. But that's football.

Adrion really should give Müller a chance in the upcoming matches. Schieber is too wasteful, we need someone more clinical up front.

Didn't deserve to lose this match, but at least we scored a goal.

Not just the ref, who was horrible indeed. We were far too passive in the first thirty minutes. The leading goal was deserved for the Czechs who were far away from being great. After that, we were all over them and had many chances.
The penalty (disgraceul decision) and the red card decided the match against us. But all in all, the team and the coach is to blame.

Ohne die Diskussion hier wirklich entfachen zu wollen, aber...mir würde es schon reichen, wenn er unseren Stürmern nicht mit dem Fuß voran an den Hals springt. Dann kann er meinentwegen auch gerne in Frauenkleidern auflaufen.

Yeah, I actually wrote the same, more or less, earlier. Way too passive start by us, way too wasteful with our chances. We should not have lost today, totally avoidable.

We have to beat the Czechs away now, and I think we can, they are not that great. We have to be more clinical though.
