Wayne Routledge really wasn't that great though and I'm pretty sure he didn't pay that much for him.

Routledge also seemed like a bit of a c**t in personality terms and I doubt O'Neill was a fan of him for those reasons. He's worked with Milner before so obviously knew his personality before signing him. From what I've heard, Milner seems a relatively nice chap. He's one of the only EPL footballers to use the FA as his football agent

Routledge is almost certainly a c**t.

He's been involved in something like 4 Villa games since he's been there...which must be a while back now. I think Routledge is TS' biggest shame.

I was being serious about the Zog FG. The guys got great technique

Under the right stewardship I believe he could develop into a top class player.

Hes shown flashes of ability... he needs to play in midfield for starters... and needs consistancy, something Newcastle appear unable to offer him at the moment... La Liga would be the best place for him IMO, more time on the ball and space to operate.

German squad is a good deal more full strength than england's it seems

that could work, I was pondering that kinda thing too..just thought Crouch might be good if we're playing someone who can actually cross...don't know how he's been playing for Portsmouth though.
