The big games -Tuesday:Anorthosis v Internazionale
Bremen v Panathinaikos
Roma v Chelsea
Liverpool v Atlético
Could be a tough match for Inter. Anorthosis have look like a well organised and tough to beat team so far. Having gone to Bremen and picking up a draw on matchday 1, cruising past Panathinaikos on matchday 2 and Inter just edging past them 1-0 at the Giuseppe Meazza on the last matchday things could be even more tough for Inter. I still expect Inter to go through and beat this lot.
Still could be an intersting tie.
Bremen's game is a must win. Panathinaikos have looked very poor for the most part except for the last matchday where they drew with Bremen though for any team Greece is a hard and hostile place to go to. So it wasn't that unexpected. At home and in a must win game... I believe Bremen will pick up 3 crucial points.
Damn Roman idiots. Surely they will put in a good performance sooner or later. They put in a decent defensive display at the Bridge againist Chelsea but now they will have to venture a bit more forward in front if their own fans. A loss isn't a end to their campaign. Cluj and Bordeaux both set to face off in another important game a win for Cluj could possibly have them level with Chelsea, while on the otherhand Bordeaux could leap frog both CFR and Roma into second place. Unlike their performance in Cluj I expect Chelsea to be a lot more organised, less sloppy with the ball and put in a professional performance againist Roma.
Still a lot to play for in this group one things for sure.
Liverpool v Atleti could determine who will finish top in the group and who they play less difficult tie in the last 16.
A win for Liverpool makes them strong favourites for top place as it will put them on 10 points and Atleti remaining with 7 points. Liverpool's fixtures do seem easier as well. Home match againist Marseille and away to PSV. While Atleti have to go to the Velodrome and host PSV. A Liverpool win for me, obviously
Wenesday:Aresnal v Fenerbache
Celtic v ManYoo
Firenze v Bayern
Real v Jewventus
Think the Aresnal game could prove crucial in regards to resorting confidence in general. Fenerbache need to pick up points and fast or they won't even make they UEFA Cup let alone. CL 16. This game depends on Aresnal and the attidude they bring out with them. If they are still mourning after the weekend's performance they are there for the taking. But I expect Aresnal to bounce back. They have provided some excellent performances in the CL this season espically the last matchday where they destroyed Fener on their home patch. RVP, I have in my FF team. If anyone owes Wenger, teammates and supporters a performance after the weekend it is him for his red mist retarded moment. (Forgot to mention about the injuries Aresnal have, that could heavily factor how the match goes.)
Celtic at Celtic Park is a fortress... but not for much longer I believe. I see United ending Celtic's proud home record and I can see them ending it in some style unfortunately as it says that on my betting slip.
Real and Juve will be a cracking match fingers crossed. I hope Juve don't close up shop and settle for a 0-0 and at least counter Real's constant attacks. Correct me if I'm wrong but Italian teams have a fairly shoddy record againist Spainish teams in Spain?
See Real taking this game but I hope for some Del Piero magic again please
