2008 FIFA Club World Cup

Haven't seen much talk about this, I'm sure the United fans will be interested, eventually.

Australia's Adelaide United will face Japan's Gamba Osaka for a chance to play Manchester United in the 2nd Semi Final, having beaten New Zealand side Waitakere United 2-1 on Thursday.

This morning's game between Egyptian giants Al-Ahly and Pachuca of Mexico went to extra time before Pachuca won 4-2. Al-Ahly lead 2-0 at half time. Pachuca play LDU Quito in the other semi final on Wednesday.

The Final and 3rd/4th place playoff is next Sunday, there's also a 5th place playoff between Al-Ahly and the loser of the Adelaide/Gamba Osaka game which will be on.... erm...... let's say..... Thursday I think.

not true, it might not be a big deal in Europe, but Al-Ahly and the American sides will have a point to prove.
