If we were doing Man United's player of the season, he wouldn't come in my top 3.
1. Vidic
2. Carrick
3. Giggs
4.. Evra (though he's had a couple of suspect games lately).
I'd put him joint 5th with van der Sar.

Giggs? Why Giggs? I still don't get it
Whyever did you let him go? Silly Boroborocooper wrote:Schwarzer has been one of the best keepers in this league for too long without any real recognition.

I've noticed that from the ones on hereborocooper wrote:debaser wrote:Whyever did you let him go? Silly Boroborocooper wrote:Schwarzer has been one of the best keepers in this league for too long without any real recognition.
God knows..we should've just given him the contract he wanted. I dont think he'd been happy for a little while though, said we fucked Viduka about..which we didnt, that fat c**t gets what he wants all the time..and had put in a transfer request the season before he ended up going, but changed his mind a couple of months later. Alot of our fans are spastics too so often got on his back.

For me, its Van Der Saar so far. He had that mistake against Newcastle but aside from that he's been phenomenal.

I've been really impressed with that Welsh fucko for West Ham. Young player of the year perhaps?

I didn't laugh, I disagreed. Still not sure you were serious. And I haven't suggested the City trio, I said they were too inconstant. I think Evans will probably be the young player.

If Rafael didn't get injured, he would surely have won it...or at least had a very good chance.
calm down, eh. Is the new criteria for winning awards that you have to play less than 10 games for Utd.L-r d wrote:kas wrote:Glenn lives wrote:Tweedle wrote:Ireland, Robinho and SWP? And you laugh at me for suggesting VDS?

If he wasn't so young he probably would have been a big contender for the other one

He's the runaway leader in scoring charts. He scored a hattrick with three different anatomical parts, all from 3-4 yards out.

Team of the year:
Kusczak/Foster
Rafael-Brown-Evans-Fabio
Nani-Anderson-Scholes-Giggs
Saha-Tevez

What are you talking about? Vidic has been excellent in 95% of games or more, he's scored more than most strikers and was the main reason for a record clean sheet run. Anelka's hat trick was in the f.a cup therefore not contributing to the tally you're referring too dumbass
