Half our squad is nowhere near good enough to be allowed to wear Oranje Grr

Great job by the KNVB : after maybe our worst national manager in the history of our country (Van Bastard) they chose a Feyenoord c**t....so we've got an even worse manager now Doh

Scotland cheers I don't like Holland, but prefered results would be them winning. I think they're through anyway, so less points for Scotland is better for us ok

Our problem is that in the group we're in our problems will not show up.

Taking the quality - or better lack of quality- of our defence over recent years into account, it's freakin amazing we're 3rd in the FIFA world ranking.

What Holland team would you make out of the current selection ?

    Mine would be :

    Klaas Jan Huntelaar

Arjen Robben - Robin van Persie - Dirk Kuyt

Demy de Zeeuw - Stijn Schaars

Giovanni van Bronckhorst - Dirk Marcellis - Andre Ooijer - Khalid Boulahrouz

    Maarten Stekelenburg

Is Ooijer first choice CB for you guys?

Looks dodgy when I see him for Blackburn.

Also: is van Bronckhorst immortal? Seems to have been around forever and ever.

Same answer to both questions : we don't have any better defenders & both always perform better for country than for club.

(although Van Marwijk probably has Mathijssen as first choice CB Doh)

If the odds are anything like paddypower's 3/10 I wouldn't put a cent on it. Holland should win, but odds like these do not merit a bet. Anyway hope we reward your confidence and bag a comfortable win.

My main problem with that match is that Holland are already clear in the group. We'll certainly play to win, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster.

Just read Gemmill's suggested tactics: 2 fullbacks, 3 (THREE) centre halves, 3 DMFs, 1 striker & Commons playing off him. lol!

    Park the bus Aye!

Wonder who'll start for Holland. If we stick to 4-2-3-1 there are 2 spots for Kuyt, RVP, VDV, Sneijder & Afellay (assuming Huntelaar plays CF, Robben plays LW & Babel is warming the bench). My guess is VDV or Sneijder as ACM & either Kuyt or RVP as right winger.

If they park the bus, Huntelaar can stay in their box....that's where he's at his best !

If they'd defend 30 meters from their own goal they'd do much better at keeping El Cazador at bay...(but then they get raped by Kuyt, RVP and Robben Twisted Evil )
