Stunning. Just instinct in knowing where the goal was and is excuted to perfection.



2. Carlton Cole vs Wigan

I am always much more impressed with team goals, with a fair amount of players showing real skill creating a perfect opportunity(ala Argentina in the WC or something like the ManYoo 3rd goal vs Arse in CL more recently).

Van Persie vs Liverpool

Arshavin vs Blackburn
Arshavin 1st and 2nd vs Liverpool

2. Can't think of anything at the moment. Carlton Cole is the only thing that springs to life. Hopefully something triggers memory from watching MOTD.

Not really, it was goal of that month and they just put all the goals of the month together. Wasnt the best goal around for sure.

Zaki's against Liverpool was awesome.

So was Robinho's agains Arsenal

all the ones on match of the day are just long range punts. lampard's goal against hull was pretty good

Very good shout as well.

Still this season was pretty poor in comparison to what we've had in recent seasons.

Suprised RVP didn't score one free kick considering the amount of times he hit the bar.

-Cole vs Wigan...amazing.

2. Goal of the Season excluding your own club?
-Torres vs Blackburn...I hate to say it, as it's a Liverpool goal, but that strike was sweet.

Any of Tuncay's, though I do really like the Cole/West Ham one.


Too many long range punts in the MOTD crop, as per usual.

Van Persie's against Liverpool and Diaby's against Villa were my favourite goals for Arsenal this year.

Zaki's volley against Liverpool and the two that Ade provides videos for in the second post are both good efforts. Not a great selection this year though.

As much as I'd like to say Bentley against Arsenal, Almunia did not cover himself in glory for that at all. I actually rate Jenas' strike in the same game higher - drove with the ball towards the edge of the area, lovely switch onto his weaker left and curled it in with aplomb.

Our best team goal was Defoe's against Stoke - I can only find a short video containing the final 3 passes for it though, sadly:

Maybe both of Lennon's at home to Middlesbrough deserve a mention in the teamwork stakes as well.

In terms of emotional goals, Lennon at the Emirates and the Pav's winner at home to Liverpool. Awesome feeling.
