i voted for RVP vs charlton...not that i am biased or anything

I still think he might have shanked it. TBH although the technique there is better I'd rather go for Henry against Blackburn because it's a quintessential 'Arsenal' goal. I left some crackers out though. RVP against Everton was a good shout.

as you left the poll as multiple choice i did also vote for rosicky vs pool...but its not really goal of the season stuff, still a great goal tho

Alot of them were just thunderbolts. Even $h!t players can score them. I prefer team goals personally but Rooney's gets my vote because it is the hardest there to execute.

If you want me to be biased I also thought Rooney vs Spurs should have been included.

My thoughts? Very biased list. Rosickys against Pool wasn't anything special, neither was Henrys against Blackburn.

Henrys was a great goal.

I wouldnt say it was a biased list. More, that I just remember more Arsenal goals as I watch every match.

I also don't rate the long range swipes that a lot of people always call "Goal of the season". They lose their impact and attractiveness after the first couple of hundred.

My vote goes to Van Persie's goal against Charlton. Unbelievable technique.

I agree with Kas on this one. RVP's goal was something out of the Marco Van Basten school of scoring.

Though to be honest the top goals here are positively $h!t compared to what is on offer in Serie A.

Is there an official goal of the season list?

How come there is not drogba and cronaldo in this list. Surely out of all the goals they have scored they must have scored a couple of good ones.

Drogba vs Everton or Liverpool would be worth a shout.

I voted for RVP, I that goal is just unbelieveble! Couldnt be bothered to watch the other goals after that

RVP for me as well. Absolutely astonishing that he was able to hit the ball so well when it was coming across him quite rapidly and fairly high in the air, whilst he was running at speed.

Scholes would probably get second for me with his volley, and third would be between Rooney's chip, Drogba's shot against Everton and Essien's against us.

You can't put in enough Dutchies as far as I'm concerned, but that Landzaat goal has to be a joke, right ?

It's an okay goal, but not even serious goal of the month material let alone goal of the season...
