Yeah, I read some quotes like that. "Took my kids and they saw some horrendous violence".
Who didnt expect this violence? They shouldve kicked both teams out before the game even started.
"I let my kids watch Saw and they're scarred for life! Its an outrage!"

Its' so sad seeing two sets of complete c**ts killing each other
I know for a fact that there are Chelsea HeadHunters down there as well tonight. Was always going to be carnage and i doubt there was much the cops could do.

They could've had more police there in the first place I would've thought. Rather than having to call them in later on anyway.

Apparently the millwall c**ts were singing about Jack Collison's dad, since he died two days ago in a motorcycle accident, and they were singing about Davenport's leg.

I would guess that Millwall only having 3,000 fans would of had more than enough to squash 20,000 home fans...

Well well well: the fighting was a surprise wasn't it?!!!
What next, the Pope admitting he's Catholic?
Finding out that bear's actually do shit in the woods?!
Anyone who took their kids to this game need their heads checked.
The mere release of the film Green Street meant that even those who would have had no intention of getting into a scrap would almost feel obliged to live up to the reputation.
Nothing like losing face when they've made a film about you. Ask the Scotch, who started wearing face paint to go English student bashing in Glasgow post Braveheart
And the Millwall fans singing about Collison's dad and Davenport's stabbing probably took the lead from those 'Appy 'Ammers who thought abusing Defoe about his dead brother on the weekend was a brilliant idea. All. Sick. Fuckos. As Puro would say

Oh fuck off. How many were signing about Defoe's brother? A handful of idiots.
How about 2000 c**t fans signing about Collisons Dad and booing off the pitch, and booing the fact we give them black arm bands.
None of you were there, so none of you will know what happened 100%. Funny how it was one of ours that was stabbed. Our fans ran on the pitch for sure. The violence outside with bottles and knives were them.
Monkey chants at Carlton Cole...glass bottles being thrown as they came out of Upton Park station.
So I really don't care what any of you want to believe.

So little do you care that you just had to try and set the record straight and absolve WHam fans of any wrongdoing.
But if I'm allowed to believe what I want then fine, WHam fans are entirely to blame because they are incarnations of various evil spirits including Beelzebub, Utukku, Oriax, Gorgon and Lucifer.

You're such a sad c**t Saints. Out to work today? Of course not.
Who said we didn't do anything? Of course we're gonna have a go back. We weren't the ones doing the stabbings though.
Southampton lose again? What a surprise .
Oh no...you don't care about the football do you?

You're right Deano, I wasn't there. Mostly because I don't support either side, and partly because football loses it's appeal when it turns into drunk wrestling.
You're probably right about Millwall and the number of fans involved - being a lower division club they will haver seen this as the opportunity to make a name for themselves against glamorous oppposition, in a similar fashion to how Cardiff fans behaved against Leeds during Leeds' successful years.
But as much as I sympathise with the decent West Ham folk and of course Collison and Davenport's situation, West Ham is not some sort of angelic club - you seem to have beef with all and sundry; if it's not about how much you lot hate Spurs, its Millwall, if it's not Millwall it's Chelsea, if it's not what a Judas c**t Ince is it's Lampard, if it's not Lampard it's Defoe.
Beckham's "warm" reception post WC 1998 was at Upton Park - effigies of him hanging from lamp posts; nobody batted an eyelid as it's of course West Ham. Where everyone is considered as hard as nails.
For a club with so many grudges and a reputation of being tough and revelling it (judging by the TV pictures it was the West Ham fans who invaded the pitch after the penalty),
the saying "you make your bed, you lie in it" inevitably springs to mind on a night like last night.
Or is that unfair?

I didn't say our fans were innocent. Far from it. Millwall come to town...we had at least 5,000 who were up for it before the kick off. However it was the Millwall fans who came out of the station and threw tons of glass bottles. They were the ones doing the stabbings.
Our fans were trying to cross over during the match, and they were too. Our fans ran on the pitch when we scored...I don't see how that's hooliganism.
The fans who sing about Defoe's brother are mindless idiots. So there is a problem with disliking players who slag off your club, or neighbouring teams?

Also the violence outside the stadium during the match was pre-organised. However Millwall have had their main football forum shut down, due to some of the stuff they was saying. The police only doubled in numbers when the things on the site were seen.

I didn't object to people being abusive, you did, only to then be abusive yourself (all the while claiming you 'don't care' what people think).
I literally have no idea what your messiah comment is about, other than another attempt to be abusive.

While the game was on...Millwall fans without tickets were causing trouble in Priory Road. They stabbed one of our fans. Look further back in the thread and you can see them standing on a wall in Priory Road during the match.
I never said we didn't do anything. But I don't see why we are getting all the blame because some fans ran on the pitch to celebrate a goal.
They were ripping up seats and making racist chants to Carlton Cole. But hey, the Poor Millwall fans who sing songs about Hillsbrough etc. Seriously, short term memory COTR? .
