I don't think you'll be catching me, or my ass this week Kimmy. Put the whiskey and the blindfold away for now.

Another win for us and a great start to the season. We played a little within ourselves but dominated the game and should have won by more. Richards was clearly onside for his goal and SWP should have a had a pen, seen as Zabaleta was booked for the same tackle as was made on SWP.

Overall im very very happy with our start, i feel there is more to come from this team, its still early days and should get better and better. Adebayor is looking class, 3 in 3 for him is a great return and not only that but he is working hard and playing well overall. Also i thought Barry was great yet again whilst Toure and Lescott were solid at the back.

Roll on Arsenal and then the scum.

Good result. Pretty shit game, think we got Fulham at a good time - just returned from Perm, which is 100m East of the end of the World.

Nice to see Gabby score, should boost his confidence. Thought maybe Schwarzer should've saved it, but perhaps saw it late.

Watched the Man Utd Arsenal game..Carrick was abysmal again sell this clown before noone will buy him.

Giggs was also terrible but at least made up for it a bit in the 2nd half.

To be fair Coops, Man U did try to give Carrick back to Spurs in part exchange for the wannabe Cruyff.

Not sticking up for Carrick I never thought he would play great in a game like this. The midfield was bound to be tight and having no one else to be able to use short passing in the middle making his long ball options become readable by the opposition. Nani should of supplied more width. Far to often Carrick would see the back of Giggs make a run that looked into no where.

Carrick needs to be played next to a midfield destroyer, not an ageing 34 year old winger.

He's had a poor start to the season, no doubt.

Liverpool should sign him and play him next to Mascherano in Alonso's position - far better than the job Lucas is doing.

As that won't happen, perhaps he should go to Boro. What a turn up that would be for Cooper's agenda Ale

Carrick needs to be played next to a specific style of player just to be decent? Fuck that. Sell the c**t and buy a player who can always play well.

He was also next to Fletcher who does act as a bit of a mini destroyer. Probably the best player for Man United on Saturday. Carrick is surplus.

Carrick can be a great great player on his day the problem is he's too inconsistent right now and he tends to go missing in certain situations. I wouldn't sell him.

Do you think he would play better with a Hargreaves around him.

Carrick IMO is at his best when he has a striker who likes to run behind defenders often. It gives him an extra option then after a few through balls the whole oppisition defence is deeper and he has more time on the ball. He tends to go off the boil whenever there is a change in formation/players.

Hargreaves could give him less responsibility defensivly and he could focus more on making passes that don't go out for throw ins i guess

Anyone know what Wenger is going on about with his repeated fouls nonsense?

Does this man ever lose without moaning about everything?

I remember early in the first half Nani being taken out as he passed to Valencia on the break and advantag ebeing given. Then a minute later i think it was Fletcher after a neat backheel taken out and same thing with no retrospective punishment. Arsenal do that a lot take the man out after the ball is successfully played. He says one player committed 20 fouls without being booked but Man Utd made 21 fouls in the whole match. I guess he means Fletcher but it's a bit pathetic to be clinging onto one player not being booked as some sort of reason for referee bias. The papers i read today all gave Dean an 8 for his performance which is what i thought.

There are plenty of midfielders who fall into that category Coops.

He does need a kick up the arse though - regressed over the last year or so.

You can't fault him when he's at the top of this game though, few midfielders can pass off both feet as well as he can.

Shame for United and England is that there is no suggestion he is on top of his game consistently enough.

So maybe move to Boro now woud be perfect, and he could join the pantheon of Boro greats such as Phil Stamp, Mikkel Beck and Colin Cooper Ale
