Yes, he should have conceded a penalty. Fuck knows why Wenger decided to drop Mertesacker. He'd been our best defender this season, had formed a good partnership with Vermaelen and tends to complement whoever plays alongside him more than Koscielny and Vermaelen do together. We've been shit.
