are there any reports in Germany as to why he missed? Is he not happy at Chelsea or did he take the decision that because the 2-legged semi final coincides with the African Nations that Chelsea couldn't afford the fixture congestion?

he has stayed in England for too long
it was only a question of time before the choking mentality would crawl up on him
